yes. my point was that if i made 3, even a casual BU fan could have easily made all 5. let alone the diehards who post here.

seriously. all three within the past couple years, within driving distance, and big time events.

I've been to zero, which -- if I'm remembering the rules correctly -- qualifies me perfectly for internet board commenting. :p

i probably would have enjoyed the neighborhood watch parties you hosted to view the games more than i did at the 4/5th i went to.:p

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread II: Still got a pulse, time for CPR

Yesterday I posted on the blog about the 5 biggest crowds to ever see a BU game having taken place in the past 26 months.

Besides Scarlet (mais oui), who else can claim they were at all five?

Frozen Fenway vs. Boston College at Fenway Park 1-8-10 Att. 38,472
NCAA Championship Game vs. Miami at Verizon Center, Washington D.C., 4-11-09 Att. 18,512
NCAA Semifinal vs. Vermont at Verizon Center, Washington D.C., 4-19-09 Att 18,512
Red Hot Hockey II vs. Cornell at Madison Square Garden, 11-28-09 Att. 18,200
Red Hot Hockey I vs. Cornell at Madison Square Garden, 11-24-07 Att. 18,200

I've been at all 5, but I will say I was only rooting for BU at three of the games. Cornell wins out during the MSG games.

Burn the rented mental bus to Providence! (skip the Foxy Lady)

Four points this weekend, or else...

BU Hockey: Four for Four

So this might be kind of a stretch but is there anyway to watch NESN online? I'm in HK for the semester and really want to watch some Terrier hockey. I was able to watch the fenway game online but I think that was because it was on NHL network. Anyway to get nesn? would love to watch tn's game.

CC - sorry this is so belated. thank you for posting the NESN Gilroy/Boyle interview.

I'd love for BU to go four for four this weekend, but I find that I can't yet trust that this team has turned things around. I'm ridiculously concerned that now that they've started stringing two wins together, they might under-hype a weekend against two supposedly inferior opponents. I'd love to get an inside view on what the captains are doing differently in the second half of the season to motivate the team. They've been quoted as saying they felt that they needed to be better captains in the second half . . . how is that going?

That was a good way to establish ourselves as a force to be reconed with in Hockey East.

So... about that rebound of a four point weekend...

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread II: Still got a pulse, time for CPR

i will take that third period any day, but i was pulling my hair out over beaudry keeping it a 1 goal 20 instead of a 4. coupled with the 2nd period, boy was that frustrating to watch.
