There you have it folks.
UNH vs Wisconsin in St. Paul for your 2011 National Championship.

P.S. BC did have one. Your boy wasn't willing to fight for ice and defected at the last minute. Another commit backed out when Kreider came a year early. You better tell Jerry which ones out there are willing to fight and which ones will bail.

Are you talking about Lyles? He didnt defect at last minute. He told them he was leaving during his exit interview. He didnt fit into their plans and they both went their own ways, which was a good thing. Fresh start and I doubt BC cared.

Funny thing is that he ended up being a first team all-star and regarded as the top D in the league this year. Is going to Lowell and over the last few days, was told that he could pick whichever NHL teams development camp he wanted to go to. Every single team had emailed his coach and offered. He is now going to Floridas and Ottawas NHL dev camps.

Go figure....

he was talking about both, I think

no need to trash him because you dont like my posts but it is nothing short of remarkable what ML has done in Vernon, talk about rising from the dead. That coach is amazing in how he handled him and put him in situations to take advantage of his assets.

UNH has NHL draft picks who have not played a single shift this year. That is their depth.

But how can this be? I thought all college coaches were influenced by where a player was drafted and what the advisers had to say to the coach???

I was talking about Cody, and the other was McCarthy who went to VT when Kreider came a year early. Both would still be in the program today.

I'm not trashing either kid. Who am I to say what is best for their own situation? I was merely pointing out that your argument held no water. Jerry did have kids in place and they moved on. No need for you to trash Jerry just because you don't think before you post.

How long was alber out with a broken jaw? Didn't he come back earlier than expected?

For some reason I think it was 3 weeks, talking to someone it completely depends on the severity. Gerbe came back from it in 2 weeks in Buffalo, Patch came back in 3, just not sure...

not trashing him at all. best program in the country. they do though run it tight on depth

good point on mcarthy, I forgot about him. you did though say, "my boy"

I'll trust the judgement of a guy who will be the winningest college hockey coach ever over someone who hangs out in the stalls of the local rinks, but thanks for the input.

This. Heck, I've questioned why york has such a small roster before, but for someone to call it absurd is, well...absurd.

Bc won without brock bradford in 2008 and they have a team that can win without kreider.

Thanks. Going off of this, I think it's premature to say his season is over.

true, but you can never have enough talent

I am sure thyey feel it is better to run with a team, get everyone games, thus a happy lockerroom vs discontent and bit****

sure has worked out well

Those reasons alone tell me it's not absurd to do it that way. Throw in the level of success he's had with it and it's hard to argue with IMO.

That was referring to Cody. IIRC, you had more than a few comments when that went down. I thought he might be your boy.

PC fans love it how he now-annually comes into the team's thread in October and November, defends Tim Army, blasts everyone there for being "too negative," and declares "this is the year PC turns it around."

He's been wrong every single time, yet leaves profane comments in everyone's "rep" sections," and then most hilariously, vanishes from the thread completely when the Friars do their annual rite of winter and go weeks (or, this season, months!) on end without winning so much as one league game.

3 years running Hokyfraud and basement finishes. 0 conference wins since November 5th. 0 wins over D1 programs since December 11th. 0 league road wins since Halloween '09.

Care to face up to the music about how YOU have no idea what you're talking about? How totally, completely wrong and off-base you are about the worst coach in the history of PC hockey? You are the ultimate "zero lifer" as you once described me, lol. A plague that goes and finds other threads to pester the fans of other teams once your own conclusions are forever shown to be completely baseless, which is, basically, always.
