Sounds like Beaudry kept it from being a total blowout. Was Shea a healthy scratch or injured?

BC has tightened up the defense, no? 3 goals allowed in the last 4 games.

They have to ride Muse, the kid won a championship playing every game, go to him again, and again, and again.

First trophy up for grabs Monday

tightening up of the D is a sign , that's what we usually see happening first

i'm sure it has nothing to do with playing the 9th and 10th place teams in those games.

Looks like a lot of losses in the top 10 tonight...

Muse has been really good this year. He has become more consistent IMO.

The D overall has been pretty good all year. They have the #1 PK and are allowing the fewest average goals/game. Yes there are still issues with sloppy play in the back but overall I think this group has really stepped up and won us some games that we may have lost in years past.

for sure though despite a decent shot total through 2 periods PC had only one really good chance, BC locked 'em up and threw the key away in the third. they never had a sniff......we dont see an offensive powerhouse again until UNH. i do however believe Jerry is starting to concoct his magic brew

the UMD loss being the shocker, 8-2 at home

yes, it was the first thing i looked at this morning when i got up..............imagine? too bad about DaCosta, hope it isn't as bad as some are saying. if we play 'em in the HE tourney, i want them to be at full strength

Muse now #1 in the nation in save% @ .937 and #2 in GAA at 1.88 behind only Bucky's Scott Gudmandson, surprisingly. He didnt look great in the FF but he's #1 at 1.83 GAA

last night was their 10th game vs a TUC (with the win they are 6-2-2, a .700 win%). now they win a lot of comparisons that defaulted to a tie before. they turned a lot of those total comparisons with a rather decent win% there. that moved them up.

If they win 3 more or even win 2 and lose 1 against TUCs they will take the BC comparison too (since head to head results aren't including in TUC records for those two teams). They only have 3 games left against current TUCs (vs. UNH, at Maine twice). I don't see it happening, but who knows with they way they are playing.

i agree. if you have watched most of the games this season, you should have noticed a pretty distinct difference in the offensive game plan more or less starting with the beanpot game. it seems like a style very similiar to what they broke out in detroit last year to the surprise of most of us (especially miami). I'm a little surprised they have gone to it this early as it could give teams a chance to see it on tape.

Doesn't really matter if they see it on tape or not, IMO. They still have to try and match up talent wise, depth wise, which most teams can't. Let the horses run... they'll become stronger.

MC are up on UNH 2-0 at the moment. If they pull it off, that would pull UNH and BC even in the RS standings - no more games in hand BS.

KRACH doesn't have a HE team in the top ten for strength of schedule. The highest is BU at 12, and BC is at 21. Is HE really that down this year?
