nd gifted bc's goal...guess it's even.
bc's speed/tempo has been very good so far, like yesterday. and the line i called the 4th line has been anything but in this period. sit line has been tremendous.

demko is just doing what summerhayes does ALL the time. summerhayes is constantly flopping around likea freakin fish.
and now when a penalty wasn't even going to be called on brown they disallow the goal without even reviewing the play??? when they called it a goal to begin with? AND then retroactively assess a penalty? hockey east at its finest.

pretty much the game i expected today but yet again, a killer goal for nd there. those kind of plays/goals have been way too frequent for them these three games.
for as good as the sit line has been today, they were out there for that one.

well i don't have any issues with the effort/response since friday but you can see the impact a mistake like at the end of the 2nd period can have in games like this. absolutely need to clean that up and the defensive errors in general. this team can still make some noise provided they can clean up those areas. we've seen them be a better defensive team this season.
the good news is we're done with hockey east refs. the bad news is another weekend off coming up. congrats to nd, they did what they had to do, capitalized on mistakes and held on. they will be a tough out.
