from a fan whose team has sold out one game in the past year in a half , in fact could not sell out 2 games vs North Dakota, 2 vs BC and one vs BU last year and no sellouts yet this year

I hope they get it back. They seem to be trying.

Jerry and staff have to be called out after that performance. Poor effort all the way around, from preparation to excecution. At least show up ready to play. They weren't moving their feet, they were getting beat to loose pucks in the defensive zone and they let their opponent dictate the physicality of the contest. No disrespect to the away team, but as a fan, that was disappointing to watch. They played way too comfortable.

The scary thing is...that was probably the biggest game in terms of intensity since they were bounced, or drop kicked, out of the tournament last year. Not an assuring trend.

At least it's the regular season in November; there's plenty of big games ahead to turn it around. We'll see their moxie next weekend.

NOW you know how BU fans have been feeling the past couple seasons...that BC team will be fine.

Well the records don't matter today, BU thoroughly beat BC 5-0. BC hopefully will recoup for next week's game. That 1st goal by BU looked like a 3-on-1. The penalties didn't help either, especially the 5-on-3 that led to the 3rd BU goal. Parker had no chance on that 1-timer.

they were the smart ones..............OUCH! a good ole fashioned butt kicking. we probably aren't as good as it seemed at 8-1 and the last 3 could have easily been 0-3. Kudos to BU , just when all looked lost for them (according to many of their fans) JP has them ready to play us, nothing new there. They handed our arses to us on a platter

Hey... we looked pretty good for 53 seconds. :D

Actually, the first period wasn't too bad. I'll bet we took about 20 shots and only 6 reached Milan. BU did a great job knocking down shots out front. The 2nd BU goal took the wind out of our sails and we never recovered. Of course, BU had a lot to do with that, as they were all over us like stink on poo the rest of the game.

You are right Kenny... let's see how they respond next week.

i dunno, if anyone can complain (not that you are complaining, just sayin) about the penalties, it's BU, we had 8 PP to 5 for them. how many freaking times at 2-0 did was miss or of course pass WAYYYYYYYYYY too much ?? pucks to the net guys, pucks to the net

I certinaly didn't expect that.... I was not calling the doom and gloom that some were talking on the BU board, I was guessing BU would show up ready, and we'd see a hard fought game either way. But as we have learned down Comm Ave a bit, sometimes a "wheel just comes off".

Does it seem weird that we do it all again in a couple of weeks, and then we are (possibly) done with each other for the rest of the year?!?!? :eek: I don't expect this result again... look for two tight hard fought games that should make for a fun weekend of hockey.
