BC Women's Hockey, 2015-2016: Embrace The Cupcake Diet

Re: BC Women's Hockey, 2015-2016: Embrace The Cupcake Diet

No chatter on today's game??

Ghosts of Terriers' past will come after me for this one....
But even though I'm pulling for northeastern (for obvious reasons), I think BC has a much better chance at beating either Minny or Wisco, and since the FF is in Durham.....

Surprise...BC leads 2-0 after the first period.

The two best chances didn't go in -- Bugalski great glove save and Carpenter off the crossbar. The two that did result in goals were a little shakier. I think BC has an aura of invincibility against many of these teams that is hard to overcome.

Bugalski is really, really fighting the puck. I didn't think BC played to the best of their ability in the first.

I was looking to see if they gave the two HE teams HE refs, but they don't have names on their backs. Does that tell anybody anything? Do HE or ECAC refs regularly "go nameless"?

After the third goal, I switched over to the Quinnipiac video stream.... Congratulations, BC. You have a better crowd at your game than the Clarkson-Quinnipiac game has!

Interesting (to me, and I guess nobody else :-) ) the woman doing commentary on the Quinn-Clarkson game said they have HE refs doing that game (and they have no names on their shirts, either. NCAA doesn't want us to be thinking about whose refs are doing which games?)

You had ECAC refs, and we'll have WCHA refs in the semifinals when you play us.

BC-Northeastern had ECAC refs. Clarkson-Quinn had HE refs.

So I guess they could send CHA refs to do Minn vs Princeton... but who be doing the Wisconsin game when WE :) play Mercyhurst tonight? WCHA refs all get the weekend off?
