Americans-Canadians

Re: Americans-Canadians

That's right. The real results...the American way. Glad you understand. ;)

Snatching defeat from the hands of victory. Amway...that's funny..... Amway. :D It was months ago now. Don't teach your kids any more bad habits. Crying has no place in hockey. :D

Don't have any kids. Who's crying? Can't handle or admit the puck was in the net? Good lesson for your kids huh? If I had kids they'd be Americans, and it would be a valuable lesson to them...sometimes when you really are the winner, you're not for reasons beyond your control. Hold your head high despite that reality. Great life lesson. The way of the heartland of America. ;)

Pretty clear why you don't. Sure it went in, conclusions were drawn in another thread long ago. Where were you? Winners are winners, period.....Just like you said a while ago, if it aint cheating it aint cheating or something like that. Remember, ring a bell? Now you have to eat your words. Enjoy your lunch. :)

How so? Let's hear your insightful, knowledgeable reasoning as to why I have no kids...because that's incredibly relevant.

Right here...read every word, watched the video and even commented if I recall. Reached my very own conclusions, which should really be apparent at this point.

Sorry, IMO, winners are not always winners, as in this case. I don't know what my "cheating" remark has to do with this topic...except nothing. No one said anything about cheating in regards to this topic...just incompetent officiating. I'm thinking I'm not required to eat my words at this time. Lunchtime though...I'm thinking egg salad...good protein. :)

1. You can't handle the truth.
2. You can't handle the truth.
3. You can't handle the truth.

You said you actually have to be cheating to be a cheater. Well, with your logic, it then goes hand in hand to expect that you actually have to be a winner, to be one. ;) Why hide behind that insecure blanket of yours. Silly. The beauty of sport is that there is always the next year or the next game. For some, losing is a four letter word. Lose, hmmm......well actually it is. Sorry about that. :)

Wow! You can quote a line from a movie three times consecutively...you are gifted indeed. Still waiting on the alleged "truth" as to the clarity you claim to possess on my lack of off spring...because as I noted, it's extremely relevant.

You said you actually have to be cheating to be a cheater.
Ah, no I didn't. I said if it isn't cheating (against any documented rules / regulations) it isn't cheating. That's a fairly simple concept truth be told. If one breaks those rules / regulations in some way...yes, I'd call them a cheater. Why you keep incorporating a comment I made on a totally unrelated matter is puzzling to say the least. Who cheated in the game in question? Who claimed anyone cheated? What does my technical interpretation of the word cheating expressed on a different topic have to do with a disallowed goal?

Well, with your logic, it then goes hand in hand to expect that you actually have to be a winner, to be one. ;)
It's become clear you're not following my logic. It's clear you have your point of view on the game in question. I have my POV and it's different than yours. Might as well leave it at that. My POV isn't going to change...even though it's an issue long gone.

Why hide behind that insecure blanket of yours. Silly. The beauty of sport is that there is always the next year or the next game. For some, losing is a four letter word. Lose, hmmm......well actually it is. Sorry about that. :)
Just as it's clear why I have no children to you, it's clear I'm insecure in some way. Once again, I'd appreciate your explanation as to your arrival at that conclusion...or you could spare me your unqualified dime store 100% bull**** psycho analysis, clown. It has been typical since your arrival in the forum...have a difference of opinion with another forum member...start taking the cheap shot personal attacks and insults. Hope your kids are following those fine examples of your own...since you raised the extremely applicable off spring topic.

Kinda blows a hole in this comment.

To Brookone...

She didn't beat Canada. :p

That makes three times. ;)

No Kids Brooky?

You me to tell us that for the better part of 17K + posts you have been extolling your great wisdoms on women and the game with no actual experience in raising a child...Female or Male?

Taking them through skating lessons, encouraging them through the minor hockey ranks, giving them a shoulder to cry on when they didn't make the team, willing them to do better, culturing them in setting their sights high, 6 a.m. practices and 10 p.m. games....

Really? Your kinda like a male brassiere salesman then, eh?

You're gonna have to show me where / when I claimed to extoll any great wisdom on anyone at all. I've posted many personal opinions and observations with zero claims of any special or particular knowledge. Then you're gonna have to show me any proof you can that what you claim provides you and any other hockey parent special, advanced enlightenment on the game. Your opinion is no one without kids can have a valid, relevant and possibly accurate opinion or observation on a hockey game then right? That indicates a severe lack of your claimed elevated enlightenment to me.

Ever heard of nieces...nephews? They don't count right? Only your own kids allow folks like you your self professed advanced knowledge. You're nothing but a ****in' joke.

Really? Your kinda like a male brassiere salesman then, eh?
See what I mean...same as the rest of the posse. Cheap shot insult, from the tool who frequently reminds us what a manly man he is as opposed to the rest of us...confronts us head on right behind his internet anonymity. I'm sure being such a man you naturally address people face to face as you do in this forum.

You beat me to it 5-4. It's kind of like before, in the old days last winter when we had to deal with all of these experts with probably no hockey experience whatsoever. It's amazing how anyone can become an expert, especially one on this forum who hasn't had a minute of experience. He aint driving my Ferrari that's for sure (I don't have one). It's also funny how they always play the name calling card. *** for tat where I come from. ;)

Let's blame this one on the 4th of July festivities...

Another Canadian who considers himself especially enlightened because he has kids...shocking. I'll ask you the same question I asked your idol, show me where / when I made any claim to expertise. I understand the rest of the forum is supposed to accept your special, gifted insight into hockey...American culture, etc. unquestioned and undisputed. I'm afraid I won't be able to do that...others can if they wish. It's amazing how full of themselves a couple tools can be. You are the authorities. Isn't it obvious? You have kids for chrissakes!

*** for tat is right...I'm not a PC concerned person. Fire with fire. Only ones who have problems with that are those who like to dish it but don't like to take it.

Exactly like before, when you were both 100% wrong with your ridiculous assumption...just as you are now. You both go way overboard on your estimations of your own powers of perception.

I'm way overboard? You're way too sensitive. Wow. My guess would be that you've been pulling my leg all along and you have TEN KIDS! Take a pill buddy.

I'd rather deal with the hassle, than to forsake my country. Those who hate America for who she is, do so without a full understanding of history, both America's and their own.

Gotice...looks like you have gone to the extreme here. It was opinion and debate. I for one don't hate America, I just wish people like you wouldn't paint us all with the same brush, and not treat us like your middle east neighbours to the north. There is one thing that we very much have in common though. We hate to be wrong. I'd rather have a team, and not deal with a bunch of individuals. :)

There goes that "You" word again. I am not taking it to the extreme and never thought this was a reference to our neighbors to the north. I was referring more to the supposed "world" hate of America.

Never in any political or other type of discussion with anyone, here or in the real world, have I thought of Canada as a middle east neighbor to the north, I don't even dislike the middle east. When it really comes down to it, most people in the world have the same dreams, goals, and desires. There are a few people in the world that thrive on hate of others...but I really feel that they are the minority, not the majority.
