Got 'em!!! I guess I will be surrounded by Red Terriers. DG, I'll come find you!! Look for the crimson and gold attire!!!

Re: All Things Denver XXXI

Dmann and DG I hope you both have a blast this weekend! Tried to watch Coaches p-conference but the feed sucks. Cuts out every 20 seconds. Is P vision like that too? Maybe they should trim some fat from salaries over there and invest in a web hosting company with some bandwidth.

DU Game Notes for this weekend in Boston.

Some highlights from the notes:

No. 3 Denver (0-0-0, 0-0-0 WCHA) opens the 2011-12 season at No. 1 Boston College (2-0-0, 0-0-0 HEA) on Friday, Oct. 14 and No. 7/8 Boston University (1-0-0, 1-0-0 HEA) on Saturday, Oct. 15. Puck drop is set for 5:35 p.m. MT at Boston College on Oct. 14 and 5:05 p.m. MT at Boston University on Oct. 15. Friday's game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network, while Saturday's game will be webcast live on www.GoTerriers.com. Both games can be heard live on 102.3 FM The TICKET. Live audio and blog are available at www.DenverPioneers.com. Live stats can found at www.WCHA.com.

The Denver Pioneers begin their 63rd season of varsity hockey this weekend against Boston College and Boston University. DU has posted a 1,281-855-123 (.595) all-time record.

The Pioneers return 17 letterwinners from last season's team that finished 25-12-5 overall and 17-8-3 second-place mark in the WCHA. DU qualified for its school-best fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament and 22nd overall. DU recorded its 10th consecutive season with 21 or more wins and joined Michigan as the lone teams in Division I men's hockey to accomplish 20 or more wins in each of the last 10 seasons.

Boston College handed DU its first nonconference home sweep since 1991 with 6-2, 3-0 wins over the Pioneers on Oct. 15-16, 2010.

Denver meets Boston University for the first time since the Terriers posted a 4-1 win over the Pioneers for the Denver Cup championship on Jan. 3, 2009.

OUT OF ACTION
Sophomore Sam Brittain (knee), Chris Knowlton (team suspension), Matt Tabrum (team suspension), Juho Olkinuora (NCAA suspension) are out this weekend.

Re: All Things Denver XXXI

THANKS!!!
We did spring for the audio on Piovision.

When you order PioVision you get audio and video available for all sports at DU not just hockey. You also get the player features that are released every once in a while. I saw there was one with Sam Brittain recently.

Should be an epic weekend here. Some interesting travel stories for some of the people flying here today, but the team made it in safely.

Lots of interesting Twitter chatter from the players. Bozak and Donovan wished the boyz good luck this weekend.

LetsGoDU is going to have lots of good quality photos this weekend. Hopefully we can get them posted in a timely manner.

Boone gets in to Boston at 5 AM Friday. I hope he doesn't get arrested along with the Wall Street protesters.

Did you get a Boston Cream Pie yet? I know it's on your short list. Let us know how it goes!

Re: All Things Denver XXXI

Boone arrived safely into Boston at 5 AM this morning after catching the red eye from Denver. As is standard procedure on the road he is holed up in a "Safe House" under tight security.
