Re: All Things Denver XXX

Welcome aboard.

Thank you. I don't know if I will ever cheer for DU's hockey team, but it was the obvious place for me to go to Law School without uprooting my family. I'm excited about the opportunity, and if you see a guy wearing a Sioux jersey and cheering for the opposing team while in the Student Section...that's probably me :p:D:D

:p:D:D

I will always be a Fighting Sioux.

Re: All Things Denver XXX

anyone else do a double take on Penn State's hiring of Gadowsky this week thinking it was gwozdecky

No, but I did think about the similarities!! Princeton must be getting a complex about their coaches! They lost two coaches to DU and one to Penn State in like the last 2 years!!

You should cheer for the Pioneers against Minny and Wisco at the very least. :)

Just don't wear a hockey jersey to Torts class, or any other class, for that matter. People will look at you funny, ask you if you went to Notre Dame, or ask you why there's an indian on a Notre Dame jersey.

Seriously, though, good luck in law school. It's a good experience, and fun to meet people from so many different backgrounds, colleges, etc. Are you doing the night program?

:p:D:D Thanks for the advice. I wasn't planning on wearing my jersey to class, but that would be funny. I was initially planning on doing the night program, but after talking it over with my wife, we decided it would be best to get it done in 3 years (as opposed to 4+) and get started in the profession.

I know of at least two DU Law Professors who read LetsGoDU every day. I double dare you to wear the UND jerseys in their classes. :-)

Cool. Three years of law school were enough for me, too. I have much respect for the people in the evening program that work during the day, but I personally wouldn't want to extend the law school experience for another year. Anyway, good luck to you, and I hope the job market is better by the time you graduate. The law school appears to be on an upward trajectory with tougher admissions standards, increased bar passage rates, smaller student body, etc. So hopefully we'll all gain some additional value from our DU law degrees.

I hope to see Murray Armstrong at the top of your best coaches list!
