Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

Well another good performance tonight from the Bulldogs. If it wasnt so one sided in penalties we might have put up 20! We even played without our best player Skelly. Just goes to show how deep our team is and how there its gonna be hard for anyone to beat us if we keep playing like we are.

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

Fogal breaks a record by going 38-0 in league play for most all-time wins...

Don't worry though, my old buddy just above me will find some way to discredit him.

And he gets pretty much the whole year just to push the record even further. :D

The penalties weren't so one-sided. Take away Waller's CFB (which was a horrendous call) and the PIMs are LFC 18, Adrian 14.

Believe it or not, the game was less physical than I thought it would be.

I have never in any way shape or form denigrated or discredited any player or member of the coaching staff of Adrian. In fact the opposite. I did see Fogal let in 6 goals against Potsdam at the beginning of last year and may have ( if memory serves ) said that goal tending might be an issue. Considering that game a valid observation. If you can post an example of of the aforementioned "discreditably" by all means do so. If not then you must be talking out your ***. As usual.

You must have had one eye closed. Bryan Scott played 3:47 in the second period and gave up 2 goals and Fogal played 61:13 minutes and allowed 4 goals and was credited with a tie. ;)

Just curious, Fogal didn't play in the league loss to Marian a year or two ago?

You are bang on .....almost like you were there.;)
Never the less it was a shakey outing for Brad.

The lobsided wins will invite speculation about the quality our goaltending.
In the OT loss to the U18's Fogal was outstanding and clearly Adrian's best player on the ice.

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

Final from Arrington

Adrian 11
Lake Forest 5

If it's possible to not look good while scoring 11 goals, Adrian found a way to do so this afternoon. Plain and simple, Adrian did not look sharp from the get-go. A lot of penalties, sloppy puck handling and Fogal was not sharp today either.

I'm going to come right out and say it: If they play like they did today, they cannot expect to beat Oswego.

As for Lake Forest, they do not appear to be a top-half MCHA team from what I saw this weekend. I still think the top four is Adrian, Marian, Lawrence and MSOE.

And if they were to beat Oswego what would that really mean in the big picture of things?

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

That they beat an eastern team.

I'm just using Oswego as a point of reference, as they're the best team that Adrian is going to face this season. Nothing more.

Regular season, sure. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if Adrian is playing a team as strong or stronger than Oswego at some point next March...

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

Duly noted. And they're going to need to play better than they did today.

Re: Adrian Hockey 2009-10: A New Hope

whats it with the refs not letting an one play? the forresters have some gret freshman forwards and the long ears arent' letting them play. we would have made the doggies sweet this weekend but it wont sever happen until they get it right. wahts with the crowd in adrain? all the wins and no love or just townies seeing the no clothes.

Oh donny boy, I wouldn't waste my time scrolling through your old pointless drivel...

In my opinion, post #83 of this thread discredits ACBulldogs' post #82. That is why I posted what I did and what I expect to see from dc.

Oh, that, and edited posts. Nearly every time. Still don't get that...
Wow, I had to look one inch to find an example...

As for me talking out of my backside ..... hahaha ... pot, meet kettle.
