What's disappointing about this thread is all the name calling and bashing that has gone on. Why can't we all agree that the Adrian players felt like the coach was their problem as to why they didn't progress more and leave it at that? And so next year, when a new coach is hired, let's see how they do and let's see what's what.
It's a shame that someone would come onto this forum and post a personal and private letter that was not addressed to anyone here. The only thing I can say about that is Karma is a *****, my friend. Here's hoping that whatever job you're at, your boss doesn't decide to post on a public forum why he/she feels you are incapable of performing a job.
What I do have an issue with and always will is when a player uses the excuse that a coach made them "lose their passion for the game". If you have passion for something, no one can take that away from you, that's why it's called a passion and not just an intense like for something.
Good luck to the current and future Adrian players. I hope you can band together and become leaders with one another and learn to take ownership for your team and program. The success that program has had in just a few short years has been tremendous and hopefully it will continue for them. And for the good of the program, I hope they will continue to play teams like RIT who demonstrate what a true winner and competitor is about and LEARN from them, rather than try to rip them apart with unfounded comparisons.
