I think reading comprehension is the least of their worries right now. They're so rattled right now they don't know who to argue with.
It seemed to me like you were giving Kempson a compliment. But hey, what do I know. The Adrian people know everything about their team.
Kempson was good for the most part during their last game, until she started taking pims. I thought she was the only real threat on the ice, but thats only my opinion.
I'm sure dogwatcher will correct me on this, because it doesn't coincide with his stat pad from the stands. Let me guess, you were the guy with the stop watch timing the shifts or were you the guy keeping the plus/minus.

They are going at 54F now too on the other thread because he misquoted something. Maybe they should re-read his posts. Hey girls, he seemed to be on your side.
Now that I think about it, re-take that reading class in the fall. Instead of trying to figure out your breakout during class you should really pay attention in class. I have a feeling you're going to need that education.

Honestly, I hope you guys find a better coach, someone that you're happy with and finish out your remaining playing days the right way.
See you guys in January when you come back to Rochester. Hopefully by then things have turned around for you all.

Why didn't you guys transfer if it was so bad?

There is more to college hockey then hockey. Most of these girls picked the school because of what it offered them in terms of education. The fact that they could play on a team that was good was a bonus. Most of the girls that stayed tried to resolve the problem. They were also given assurance from the admin that things would be better. Instead it just stayed the same and even got worse in some cases. By the time it was clear that it was not going to get better some where upper classmen. And yes many transfered but whats more telling is the ones that stayed but opted not to play(like most schools Adrian offers some unique expiences). Of these girls that did not come back most were major contributors. These were not fouth and fifth line players that wrote,talked and tried to make this work it was most of the team. As far as posting the letter goes has anyone considered this maybe it will be helpful now. There is nothing on that list that can not be fixed and maybe this is the wake up call that a young coach can run with. If nothing else as far as the team goes maybe it will keep all parties honest and talking from now on.

I know you have mixed feelings for adrian but seem to like them more than hate them. The coach had already resigned her position. Posting the letter on this forum after her resignation was cruel, and self-serving. It provides no benefit to the program, and justifying it as a value to the next coach is absurd. It only reveals that there were problem players and parents for the former coach, ...........that remain out of control. Clearly they pose a very real potential problem for the new coach until they buy in, or are either cut from the team, or replaced with new recruits.

Hopefully the next coach will have the experience and gameplan to deal with the issues without having consider this forum/thread as a resource or "wake up call to run with" !

In my 50+ years experience as a player, parent then coach, there are often circumstances that result in player/parent discontent that need to be addressed/resolved. Given what I'm reading, the new coach will have immediate challenges, and will need to do some housecleaning.

I hope the players rally around the new coach, and wish them all the best in their quest to repeat as NCHA Conference champions.

I agree. There are things that go on anywhere a coach is terminated or abruptly resigns, that people here would like to read about. I'm pleased that OSU parents and players did not bring them to this forum, it would have served no purpose. And believe me, there was stuff. No need to talk about the Cadillacs and tatoos -- oh wait, wrong sport.

The kids and their parents need to buy into what the new coach brings and see where it takes them. Anything else is only counter productive.

Are you the same RIT fan that humiliated yourself last season and disappeared for a while ? No we didn't forget it would be fine if you did the same this time. I know RIT is going D1 and that makes you an expert oh wait that isn't going to happen. By the way I don't think that is fair to hold a team down like the Ncaa is doing.

How does a school possibly becoming a D-I hockey program...or possibly not, directly affect a fan of that programs overall expertise on the topic of college hockey? There's a connection I'm unfamiliar with I assume?

I found the WCHA rules for fan conduct poster for you and man, your not going to like it. Says anyone caught using tickets inappropriately shall be banned indefinitely! Better get down to the ticket office a get that straightened out right away, and don't say I never do anything for ya. Hurry, before it finds it's way to the WCHA thread.

Tell them how it's appropriate for you to decide what a player does with their allotted tickets and distribution of all tickets allotted to all players is for you to control and decide. I'm sure they'll agree and take the appropriate course of action. You should do it in person so they can summon the good people in the white coats and see that you get the appropriate help you desperately need. Is the ticket thing keeping you up at night? Let's continue to discuss this fascinating topic because it relates so strongly to Adrian college hockey.

I was humiliated and disappeared? By who, and when did this happen? Please Mr. Facts about Everything show me. I love how guys like you bring up the D1 thing when things don't go your way. Last time I checked RIT was D3, played a D3 schedule, plays in a D3 conference and has a D3 schedule next year. I guess Norwich is going D1 too because they're pretty good as well. Your men's team must claim that they are going D1 because they're a good D3 team. Is that how it works in your world?

And one NCAA game isn't holding your team down in my opinion.

RIT vs Adrian (5 games total)
RIT 5-0
Adrian 0-5

Game 1: 4-0 SOG 46-11 @ RIT
Game 2: 6-1 SOG 51-28 @ RIT
Game 3: 4-2 SOG 42-11 @ Adrian
Game 4: 8-0 SOG 45-16 @ Adrian
Game 5: 10-1 SOG 44-34 @ RIT NCAA Game

Please dispute those numbers and tell me your team is good.
Can't wait for games 6 and 7 this year back in Rochester.
Maybe they will put up fight this time. But something tells me they won't because it will somehow be the coaches fault again.
Keep up on your plus/minus stats Dog. It helps when the fans keep track of that in the stands.
