So Oklahoma Tried Something...

Just so we are caught up on the events of this millennium, fighting for the civil rights of Transgender people is an impeachable offense. Lying to the American public, falsely entering wars that lead to people's death, torture, outting CIA agents (and so much more) we can look the the other way. Oklahoma has always been on the right side of history ;)

And yet, when your Nobel peace prize winner continues the war and becomes the President with the longest tenure for a war, you're willing to look the other way... :rolleyes:

That's not cutting spending. That's moving money around and screwing people out of money they were promised. Money that they were promised in lieu of a competitive salary.

Obama's job approval now at 58%. Of course it's bound to dip when he declares martial law and stays on...

That potential dip depends upon who's leading the other polls. It would be an interesting turn of events were something like that actually to happen. I'd speculate that the sitting POTUS would have to be heavily liked by the military leaders AND the enlisted troops. POTUS's party would also have to hold Congress and a large majority of the state legislatures - specially those that are large EC vote counts and heavy with militia types. Realistically, though, it'll only ever happen in Col. FlaggDude's wet dreams.

What's not to love. When he took office the top 1% owned approximately 34-35% of all the wealth in the country. In just eight short years he boosted that to 40+%. Works for me.

Wow, when did I get that high of a rank... :eek:

I probably posted it in the campaign thread, but there certainly have been some questions surrounding what if Hillary wins the EC, but dies from these ailments prior to being able to take office...

From the 20th Amendment:

Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
