Media isn't news, it's entertainment. Who need income to survive. How else could you explain mainstream media giving so much room to a person who really wants to take away their rights to tell the news?

Honestly...that was the only funny part of it. I dunno everyone was trying too hard I think it never really seemed to click. Carrey is a better Biden than Carvey who seemed to be doing an older version of Bush with a different accent. Gaffigan was fine...

Samberg played Doug perfect because he is Doug. If you have ever heard Andy talk about his wife it's like straight gushing dorky praise.

Whoever played Trump was ok...did fine showing how boring he is I guess.

In other news Cuban is now stumping for Harris on podcasts that young men listen too.

The opening wasn’t that funny….honestly I thought Jean smart had the funnier skits (overall a way better show top to bottom than I’ve seen from them in ages)

Everything she did was amazing. I had never seen or even heard of her, but she's got perfect, old school comic timing, like Rosalind Russell or Carole Lombard. She didn't do anything cheap or lazy. I hope everybody in the cast used the week as a graduate seminar in acting.

Slotkin has been running ads since the primaries both pro-herself and anti-Mike Rogers. Just saw a Mike Rogers ad today and I'm pretty sure this is the first one he's rolled out. There are a couple PACs that have run anti-Slotkin ads but this is the first ad actually having Rogers approve the message. And even then he made it 25 seconds anti-Slotkin and only 5 seconds of positivity for himself.

Negative is Rogers' only hope. Trumpers find his MAGA cred suspect and the brand of conservative he was successful with 10-20 years ago passed its expiration date in 2016. If this were the South, his ads would be leaning more into antisemitism. Though one of those attack pieces used a somewhat 'Happy Merchant'-esque pic of her.
