I mean, there's other things too. Paying for schools, city and state-funded community events for kids, etc.

we are paying a shit ton of extra for other people's kids already. Part of our insurance premiums pay for them. And that's good and fine. We should want this. Good schools are good for property values, help keep the economy going. Good medical care means we're healthier.

Childless adults are probably like the blue states when it comes to net taxes vs benefits.

There's more- if you are a federal employee with a spouse- the benefits are self or family- no self plus one. And you really pay for that extra 2 people. That even applies to retirees who don't have kids as dependents- the cost to cover both people is the same as covering 4.

There are plenty of times we pay for kids we don't have. Don't need more penalties on top of that. At least paying for taxes that cover education, I know the next generation will pay my SS benefits, LOL.

One of the Rogers' ads that I keep seeing is the anti-immigrant one (ignoring that his worship stopped the bills from progressing)... But in a non subtle way, he implies that hotel room stewards are illegal immigrants. Which is likely very untrue, unless they are hiring illegals- which itself is illegal. Not sure if Hilton and Marriot corps are willing to risk penalties and fines for illegal workers. That's something for Perdue. Or other meat companies, who can hide and fire their workers easily.

The rather overt racism is pretty bad.

Because the media is no longer the 4th estate.. they are an entertainment, profit driven enterprise that cares about ratings and money more than the truth.
