I'd also been thinking about that and he might be able to get the checkbox next to delivering a state because he would 100% lock MN and probably hold Wisconsin too. So even if it's not an offensive move, it's a good defensive move in two states.
Im still not convinced it's going to be him, but I'm becoming less convinced that he doesn't have a compelling case.
I also found out Shapiro has some serious baggage around Israel/Gaza and with the teachers' unions. That could be a dealbreaker.
