2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

So, Mr. "waves at nobody" is just projecting again? Say one thing about Donnie, he's consistent in his delusions.

As for Blue Wall, I can't see how you can characterize states as that if they're not going to be a reliably blue state. Which those three weren't in 2016.

I don't disagree...just using the vernacular the media does to describe those states. Swing States is used for too many now.

I thought that was the point. Even if she lost the swing states she'd still eek it out with the reliable voters of holy sh-t what happened?!

The Blue Wall wasn't. So it's become an expression for a support you lean on that turns out to be tissue paper.

The Blue wall came from having been Democratic for 6 elections from 1992-2012. Hillary thought it was akin to New Jersey. Whoops.

Between the 162-lie press conference and the beyond-unhinged A1-crowd photo bleat...if Trump was still president, serious 25th amendment discussions would be taking place. Instead, it's just old man yelling at the clouds.

Bringing back a meme from 60 years ago: In your guts, you know he's nuts.

TFG up and took a 21 second dump into his pants before re-joining the world and continuing his speech in Montana Friday night; so long that FOX News had to split-screen and explain that they were indeed live, and yet nary a peep from *any* of the media. McConnell got more coverage for his glitch(es). Biden stuttered and they acted like the he needed to be taken to a farm up north and given a "good retirement." Trump sh*ts his adult depends for a third of a minute and the world moves on like he's some great orator with that pause.

Is anyone else thinking that the Tech Bros (Peter Thiel?) that made him select Vance know Trump is losing it and if he wins, they will do whatever to get him out specifically so Vance can become president? Just me? OK.

New poll shows Harris tied in NC. The governors race also has the Dem heavily favored. If he wins that would be the third straight Dem win for governor, so how does the state keep voting red for president?

The same way Massachusetts has had a Republican governor a few times despite being a blue state?

Apparently people walked out of the speech...I watched a bit no one was paying attention.

And again the crowd size was small even for a state like Montana. Oh and rumor is he had to divert from Bozeman to Billings because he owes Bozeman money and the threatened to confiscate his plane.

Sounds like the ground game by the Dems has improved the last few cycles. Biden lost by just over 1%.

DX and I discussed that a bit earlier. From what I've read over the weekend, the city has sort of resigned to the fact they're never gonna get paid by the guy. One Bozeman city official went on record (iirc) that they were not going to seize the plane.

But... someone (again, no confirmation) did make the point that each airport has their own company who provides jet fuel to the airports. Bozeman and Billings use two different companies, so he may owe money to the Bozeman provider and was able to get refueled at Billings. He was flown in from Billings to Bozeman on a smaller private plane (likely someone with a working credit card).

I haven't seen anyone connect the dots yet, but it could be interesting to see over the last eight years which airports / fuel provider TFG has used.

TL;DR: the man is a habitual "dine and dasher" for all aspects of his life.

So more of this from Fox News: Former leader of Walz's battalion publishes scathing message aimed at governor's military career: Report

Doesn't matter to me but I had seeing stuff like that.

Also, someone posted onto Threads, and found the TikTok video, of a person who was close friends with people who have contracted work for Trump. The main story was that there was a guy who got into a big contract for heavy construction with Trump. Racked up over three Million owed by Trump. Trump and his lawyers dragged this man and his company through the mud for months. (Might have been over a year). Subcontractors were beating down his door wanting to get paid.

Finally, to "end" the lawsuits, Trump's camp offered half of what was owed. The man, beaten down from this whole drama, agreed. Receives the certified check. Deposits check. It clears. Then grabs the titles to all his heavy equipment, cranes, and trucks, rounds up all his tools and liquidated them for the certified check. Takes those checks to the bank, deposits them.

Then goes and finds what is owed to each subcontractor and other debtors. Goes to the bank and gets certified checks for every one of them and then goes and mails them out certified mail.

Then, the contractor goes home and blows his brains out.

It's the *same*god*dammed* pattern with this man. This isn't the only story thst has been told like this. Why is this man placed on such a pedestal?

I believe the plane is still grounded in Billings, so I tend to think it does have a legit mechanical issue. He's jetting now around in a Gulfstream G550 that allegedly used to belong to Epstein, lmao.

Also keep in mind that the GOP candidate is actually more batsh*t crazy than Trump. Yes, it is possible. Look up some of the stuff about him and what he says.

I have relatives in NC. They all say if the GOP wins the governor mansion, they are moving out of the state. And I don't think they are joking. That's how afraid they are of him.

I got pointed toward a video from "Angry Cops" that actually break down the issue. Was directed to it from TikTok videos from Feralsai.

Basically: yep, it was sh*tty that he used the rank he didn't earn for the hot minute after retirement, but it was caught and corrected by the DoD. Biggest issue is how he got out early when he had two years to go still. Retirement does take time to process, but there's still questions about timing.
