Gotta give Drew credit for at least half a decade of commitment to trolling. His arc from incompetent right winger, to then seeming like he turned a corner and was becoming "one of us" to now just trolling everyone with the most generic and stupid Maga crap is quite the journey.

If those few years where he was less stupid were really just setting it up for this hard right turn, then he's stayed in character quite well. It's just unfortunate that his last couple years have been so uninspiring compared to his initial posts.

Anthony Weiner didn't rile up a mob to attack the Capitol to prevent the peaceful transfer of electoral power.

Seriously. Anthony Weiner didn't specifically commit an offense that disqualifies you from office, piece of crap though he may be. Why did that name erect itself into Drew's head?

Maybe Drew has a thing for weiners? Weiners constantly on his mind. Explains his self-loathing.

Does the wife know?

Whoa long time no see (post?). Coincidentally and probably a bit weird, I was just wondering whether you had given this place up.

How have you been?

Doing well. My disappearance from the board roughly coincided with me leaving a long stable job to join an AI startup. Got out of the habitat of browsing the board while I was getting my footing there and I’ve only popped i a couple times over the last 1.5 years. Unfortunately we failed to close the series B funding I was told was a done deal when I interviewed… about 2 months after my start date I got laid off a week or two before a two week trip to Iceland. Fortunately I got something else lined up so I had a job waiting for me when I returned. A couple months ago I started a new R&D project for the same company I joined after I returned from my trip. It’s pretty relaxed and I have a lot fewer meetings (and no production emergencies) so I might be around more often now.

Is it because she just disrupted the pipeline for politicos that actually know how to play the game? I assume, just like everything else, she just switched districts without consulting anyone and now the career politicians are upset.

Part of it is that...part of it is that she is carpetbagging. Plus I don't tuvo they like her much anyways cause she is a moron.

She's an embarrassment and they smell blood. You don't say the quiet part out loud, so she threatens their grift.

Nimrata wants to address school shootings with mental health. The c u n t who has voted against Medicaid expansion and every other chance to extend health care.

This has become the lazy right wing deflection. They absolutely don't mean it, because "rub a little dirt on it and get back to work" is what they think of as therapy.

Even if they earnestly meant this - which again, they don't - what about people who can't afford it, or can't afford to take time off to access it? The response is "shrug".

Michael Fanone says GOP lawmakers attempt to ‘whitewash’ Jan. 6 due to ‘politically inconvenient’ reality. He continues to call out republicans who keep lying about what happened on 1/6/21.

He also calls out Democrats for their inability to get across the message:

I also attribute it to the Democrats’ inability to express anger and outrage and to educate Americans who may or may not live inside the beltway, as to the significance of Jan. 6, and to the threat the former president and his administration — and the Republican Party at this point — pose to America and our democracy.

Finally, he credits the president for calling out the traitors but appear to believe Biden needs to do even more:

Where’s the outrage on behalf of the current administration? You know, I give credit, Joe Biden has given some fiery speeches with regards to MAGA and its effort to overturn a free and fair election. But that’s something that this country needs to hear every single day, specifically younger people, young voters.

I will go to my grave believing that 1/6/21 posed a greater threat to America than 9/11, and it isn't really close.

More and more, I think 9/11 was Bin Laden’s trap to set the US on a course to some sort of future ruination, not to specifically ruin our nation on that given day. January 6 is a symptom of that goal.

No serious historian or political scientist will argue with you. January 6 was the most existentially dangerous action to the United States since the Civil War, and it was a more serious threat to democracy. Although the South was defending a sick and obsolete definition of citizenship, it was at least a democratic conception. The Republicans, conversely, attacked and are continuing to attack democracy itself. They should be outlawed as a party and their officials stripped of power and denied the right to stand for office. All GOP officials are traitors, because they countenance the Dumpies' treason.

Hell the South at least acknowledged Lincoln won; I mean they immediately left as a result, but that requires admitting he won.
