Her surge is going to die. No Anti-Trumper is going to follow someone so stupid they can't answer a basic Civil War question. Hell she didn't even say States Rights...her answer was the type of crap you hear from people riffing because they didn't read the book before the exam.
Her only chance is to be the "sensible" option...but that doesn't work if you are too stupid to pass 4th grade. I would bet any chance she had in NH (she will be at best 3rd in Iowa) blew away like her Indian Heritage did...
