Speaking of hobbies….per rolling stone:
“Speaker of the House Mike Johnson admitted that he and his son monitored each other’s porn intake in a resurfaced clip from 2022”
goddamn why are republicans so ****ing sick
Her district has Dearborn in it so her comments are likely playing to her constituents.
I think many of her constituents love that she's reciting a line used in reference to obliterating all the Jews.
Tlaib is really trying to get herself primaried isn't she...
The rest of the state party is turning on her, and she keeps doubling down. Considering her constituency, clearly her poll numbers aren't a concern.
for some reason it seems to be hard for some people to put out a statement that basically says terrorism is evil and civilians shouldn't be killed. But I guess there's no pleasing hardliners who think any support of Israel or Palestine is evil and the other side must not exist
I still say this is simple: just drown everyone from Hamas, Hezbollah, and Likud, and let the sane people live together. That's a from the river to the sea we can all get behind.
Weren't all of these elected by popular vote. I thought you were a big supporter of the notion that not only should political leaders you despise be eliminated, but also the citizens who voted for them?

Hamas was years ago, Hezbollah was never elected and Likud had to form a coalition government because, while they had the largest plurality, they weren't remotely close to a majority.
All of these are minority parties. All of them. And frankly, this is one of the major problems with multi-party systems.
I'm not sure it makes a difference. Look at the Republican caucus -- their worst, most extreme, most vicious, most militant, most anti-democratic wing controls them. At least in a multiparty system "normal" Republicans (stupid or cynical, but not crazy) would have the ability to form a coalition with other moderates.
I just don't know if multiparty would be better, here. I don't know enough about it. I feel like if we had it I'd rather there be 40 parties with 2.5% than 4 with 25%.
