2023 D3 Bracketology

I’m here at Hobart. Been asking around.

For those of us who think Hobart can’t possibly host next week, we may have to think again. I kid you not.

I think if Hobart is the highest remaining eastern region team, then they should host. I don't care what their rink looks like.

I tend to agree.

The higher seed should host.

The Cooler is an absolutely awful place to watch a game, but that's not exactly on Hobart.

Talking to higher level people, yes, technically Hobart could host. But they don’t see it happening.

But here’s something interesting — apparently Utica can’t host. Did the Comets decide not to be flexible?

The final PWR is the one that's calculated before the tournament starts, everything that comes after is irrelevant

And for what it's worth, rumor has it Adrian will be the host if Utica doesn't win tonight

Yeah, I get that.

Was just speaking to how razor-thin the comparisons are this season.

It's anybody's championship -but to repeat myself- Hobart and Adrian look like the pick of the litter to me.

I just can’t see any way possible that happens. At all. And i bet Hobart announces a new rink or on-campus rink within a year if they are in position to host FF this year and can’t.

Scoreless after 1 in Geneva. Curry looks good...definitely carried play for parts of the 1st period. I thought Hobart looked better as the period wore on. Definitely had the better of play in the last 5-7 minutes of the period. Hobart's Belov hit the post late in the period..3/4 of an inch to the left and it is 1-0...not sure the Curry goalie even flinched on that one.

Hobart, Endicott, UNE and Adrian in the Frozen Four....but where.....Endicott?? The Cooler put in some extra stands for this game , had 1000+ .........Could the Cooler be the place?? Nice central location for Michigan and Maine travel.....haha

Well, Where do we go now? UNE wins in OT

I hard kick to the genitals.

Utica did everything but win.

Girard was the difference. Can't wait to see him graduate. He might be the following Hebert as a D-3 goalie who has the skills to make it in the NHL.

Well well well. Here we are again. One and done for perennial national power Utica, owner of one win all-time in the NCAA Tournament.

I have brought up the obvious weakness of the UCHC and was mocked. I also pointed out the folly of deep discussion of hosting the finals at the Aud. Mocked again. Keep pointing out the danger of a fan base with delusions as to its place in the D3 hierarchy before it has actually ever accomplished anything. Mocked. Ridiculed. Flamed. Perhaps Utica fans need to reconsider what it is they're actually cheering for.

I've also heard that Utica will be changing its logo from the demented moose to a cart put before a horse. Or a cart before a moose. Either one. Looking forward to seeing the new designs.
