When will the site of the final four D3 men's hockey
be officially announced? Flint suggested Endicott, I agree since it is the highest remaining seed.
Endicott is not the highest remaining seed.
Hobart was.

The PWR was locked in when the brackets were set and the seedings were locked in. After that, changes don't count. Hobart was seeded higher.

Endicott is the 2 seed, Hobart is the 3; Endicott will be the home team wearing white on Friday.

Where was the announcement? Not questioning you, would just like to check it out as I’ve looked a bit and haven’t seen anything.

Adrian tweeted it out, stating an official NCAA announcement. I certainly never expected the NCAA to actually let the public know... (I'm not cynical...) They finally put the championship time up on their bracket, but not the times for the semifinal games.
Ironically, all the teams but Endicott put the information on their respective schedule pages. Endicott finally did just recently.

They also announced Utica had won in overtime during their broadcast before the OT had even started !! LOL

My apologies. I thought Hobart was the 2. It appears I was wrong and Endicott was the 2. So, I guess we’ll never know if Hobart would have been able to host or not as it never got to them.
I credited Flint with the post saying it was Endicott as the finals site. That was incorrect, it was Russell Jaslow who wrote that post. Sorry to Russell and KRB Flint, I was grieving the disappointing 3rd period loss that Norwich had just had. It usually takes me 24 to 48 hours to accept that it's a long wait for October and the return of Div III hockey .
