2023 D3 Bracketology

Here is my question !! The PWR now has Endicott, if both UU and Endicott win & PWR stays this way, where does the FF go??

The final PWR is the one that's calculated before the tournament starts, everything that comes after is irrelevant

And for what it's worth, rumor has it Adrian will be the host if Utica doesn't win tonight

Their arena only seats 500. They hosted the women but if the committee allows this, the can of worms opens again !

I heard Adrian was a possibility too, which is surprising considering UNE would most likely meet the requirements.

If they didn't put in a bid.... I think the choice has to come from teams that put in a bid. I'd be stunned if Norwich didn't put a bid in.

I would be VERY surprised if Adrian hosted given it was supposed to go to the highest ranked team in the East with suitable hosting requirements.

Adrian is the ONLY option if the final 4 is:
UNE - venue probably meets requirements but may not have put in a bid
Adrian
Endicott - venue may not meet requirements
Hobart/Curry - venue definitely doesn't meet requirements

There must be a reason Adrian is being discussed. The only thing I find surprising is that if Adrian has suitable requirements, Endicott has to be very close. Their rinks are similar, makes me wonder if Endicott ever put in a bid.

I think Adrian would have to win for there to be a chance of this happening. Is there also a rumor that Point has forfeited tonights game?

Endicott's Borque Rink has 1000 seats and 6 locker rooms. Adrian only has 500 seats, unsure of locker rooms.

Regardless of whether Adrian or Stevens Point wins, neither are being discussed as a host site for this year. Period.

If Utica were to lose, it would be between UNE and Endicott.

There is no scenario where Norwich can host as the lowest seed remaining and teams above them can.

Also, Amherst is currently hosting the D3 women’s championship. That rink leaves a lot to be desired and they were still awarded the bid.

Not sure of how many?

I believe if the locker room situation was acceptable at Willet in 2019, then Arrington should be just fine. Adrian has hosted the NCHA women's semifinals and final weekend a couple of times with no locker room issues.

Anyways, I think they are prioritizing an Eastern campus host site this season. But wait, what does it mean to be "East" anyways?? I mean, Adrian IS in the eastern time zone?? Now I've gone and confused myself...

Adrian is classified as a “west region” team.

I’m here at Hobart. Been asking around.

For those of us who think Hobart can’t possibly host next week, we may have to think again. I kid you not.
