Good to get back to giving up just one goal. Gasseau is most likely out for the Beanpot. It will be interesting to see who they bring up.

Vote if he is cleared to play, they are going to need a defensemen as well.
NU didn't belong on the ice with BU and somehow won the game. That's life.
Nearly the exact same thing the Russian coach said in 1980 after losing to the US team. Obviously you have never played the game.

Geesh...calm down, man. I get it that you're euphoric right now, but he's right. BU totally dominated the game and lost on two BAD goals against. The second goal was horrendous...Caron was out of position. Having said that, there definitely is something "missing" from this Terrier team. Unfortunately, it might be at the position where you can least afford it. But don't act like Whitehead was Jim Craig. BU didn't exactly create fantastic chances where he stoned them.

Maybe you can get the NCAA to commission a second trophy - "Best Team on the Ice Even Though We Got Less Goals Than The Other Team That Didn't Belong on The Ice With Us" ? A couple of other suggestions: Eliminate keeping score? Bring in the Romanian figure skating judge, throw out the high and low score, and proclaim that your team won based on artistic impression?

I'm just saying that building a championship team has alot more to do with chemistry than loads of talent. I think both BU and BC could learn from the most recent NCAA champions that have played in the portal era from New England QU, PC and UMASS, none of whom were stacked with NHL blue chips, beyond a a couple of kids just really good chemistry. This is especially true in college and amateur sports. Their is no denying that the best team often doesn't win, right now from December 1st thru today. NU is 10-4-3 with wins against BC, QU, Maine and BU twice So it's not a coincidence. All those wins all were come from behind games in which NU did not score first. However they aren't better than any of those teams, they are just finding a way to win. Hopefully BU and BC will also find a way in March too.
