I'm sure there are tens of as-sholes who fit the description because there are examples of everything in Life's Rich Pageant, but as an actual force I just don't buy it. I travel in Far Left circles, I know Sanders' people. They are appalling in their own way (many of them are leftover hippies which I frankly find pathetic on a personal level though I appreciate the ideological allegiance. Many others are hyperactive kids who have yet to learn things like perspective. Or Bathing.) but they are nothing like this conspiracy theory of crazed purists who are at the same time fevered sexists.

I know it's a wonderful centrist boogeyman, but I'm afraid it just isn't real.

There are 2 Bernie bros on my Facebook feed. Acquaintances from high school. They are real, if overblown. The question is whether they're concentrated in certain rust belt states of consequence rather than evenly spread out.

I have one high school buddy and his posts are all anti democrat posts. Sometimes I confuse him with my dads old Fox News loving 88 year old uncle

Ditto I had several on my Facebook feed. They supported Bernie in the primaries and voted third party in the general.

Well there’s a pretty big difference between criticizing the dumb stuff certain dems do and implying that Ilhan brought down the twin towers because she’s a Muslim like my uncle did. The latter is how you know they’re a republican.

A vote for Stein or the SPUSA, or a write-in for Bernie, was a vote for Dump. Especially in battleground states.

I had a couple. They weren't going to vote before Bernie came along, and as far as I know they went third party or didn't vote in the general. Essentially a net zero before-and-after.

I know a friend of a friend that supported Bernie and then when Hillary got the nomination ended up voting Trump
 
And yet there were far more HRC dead Enders in 2008 who voted for McCain, wonder what the difference was...

And don’t give me some BS about how voting for Trump is sooooo much worse than voting for the guy who wanted to bomb Iran when we weren’t even out of Iraq, had a blatant racist for VP (not to mention the other racist dog whistles during that campaign), and proposed austerity measures during a financial crisis. Over the first black president who campaigned on the opposite.

My dad is a Bernie Bro. Anything to the right of Bernie is a Trumper. Not. Even. Kidding. I wish I were. He's over 9000% uber-left.

I mean sure the dude probably hasnt left one of the coasts since Cornell last won a National Title he would know! :D

People need to stop worrying about Biden...the guy is an old out of touch crackpot that always finds a way to pee down his leg. If the Superdelegates still had uber power I would worry but he wont last long enough for them to factor in. He wont be coddled like Trump was once the big guns start falling and Super Tuesday will be the end of his run unless a miracle happens. He will need some left endorsements to have a chance and none of the Progressives are going to back him over a non-middle candidate or even Mayor Pete. Maybe if he kept his mouth shut for 5 seconds but he has shown for decades he cant do that. He is and always will be a gaff machine.

If anyone should drop for the sake of the country it is Joe. Let him go stump in the rust belt states than go back to the home ;)
