I think Lizzy got a favorable draw here. Its a bunch of never-were's plus O'Rourke while Bernie, Biden, Kamala, and Mayor Pete slug it out in the 2nd debate. Warren basically got the equivalent of the Patriots regular season schedule.

This is how I see it as well. She is getting basically a guarantee to face the Big Dogs later (after they beat up on each other in this debate) after she has shined and taken down the also rans. Beto and the rest wont be able to touch her on anything. Booker cant hold her jock on any subject and Klobuchar will be out of her element against her. Even if they all gang up on her her record beats almost all of them and she can outargue all of them.

Meanwhile her staff gets to watch the others debate and pick the vulnerable fruit and attack it. Of the leaders one is going to fall off because of that debate. Warren already is amongst the leaders in polling, and will likely stay there in a more solid position once one of the Debate B people falls off.

If I was her staff I would be dancing a gig. (while publicly pretending it is concerning) She got a bye in the first round. Christ if I didnt know better I would jokingly say they rigged it for her.

I'm going to guess the Berners will say she is a connected, wealthy elitist who has worked too closely with Wall Street in the past to be trusted (even if it was to oppose a lot of their lobbying attempts). I'll also guess they will say she has had too much negative press in the last couple of years, and therefore can't beat Trump.

The first part was what was floated the most. The second part will come out if Bernie falls off more to be sure.

I have done a 180 on Warren in many ways. I always liked her but never thought she would be the nominee or I would really want her to be. At this point though, outside or 1 other candidate, I cant think of one that would be MORE perfect to go after Trump and put the fate of the nation on the line for. She is a clear difference to him, she is everything he isnt on every level. There is no mistaking it. The future of what this country will be will come down to a simple choice. Either the people want something better or they dont.

Now I do think the Pocahontas BS will haunt her a bit...but unlike most pols she doesnt run away from it she will go after it which is something that will screw up Trump's ability to use it. Hopefully it wont involve publicity stunt DNA tests...but either way she has the balls to defuse the bomb instead of running away like a baby. Plus, unlike other pols, she wont hold back on taking him down over his stupidity. She wont just call him "Putin's Puppet" (which was still probably the highlight of Hillary's campaign) she will break it down. She wont just make the comment she will continue to push it until he is on tilt. She wont sit idly by as rumors go around about her. (remember the "Hillary is sick or dying" crap) She will be out the next hour going..."uh hi I aint dead you nimrods". And when the media is complicit to Trump she will make sure they know about it.
