She could win.

She could, but she will have to do more than speak to hand picked audiences on networks that are favorable to her. Sooner or later she is going to have to pierce the bubble. Otherwise she is just preaching to the converted.

I mean I like her and would have zero issue voting for her but I am not someone she needs to worry about. She needs to show the people who only see her in news clips where she looks one step away from going on a mass killing spree (and that just isnt Faux ALL of the media is complicit) that she isnt that caricature. Hillary was never able to do that because she is afraid to be seen as human or vulnerable in any way. (and the media did that to her in spades and still do...especially a certain overrated piece of crap fishwrap out of New York that is so far up certain members of Trump's staff's butts they have orange smeared all over them)

She needs to step out of her comfort zone.

I really don't know who I'm with this primary. Is there someone who says I can use the bathroom in peace and who says doctors can't refuse to treat trans patients based on religious liberty? That's all I want.

The thing about Warren that's unexpected is the more she talks the more sh'es likable. With Hillary it was exactly the opposite. Warren has no fakeness about her at all. She is the real deal: she says what she believes and she has facts and figures behind what she says. That kind of sincerity is its own brand of charisma.

The thing about Warren that's unexpected is the more she talks the more sh'es likable. With Hillary it was exactly the opposite. Warren has no fakeness about her at all. She is the real deal: she says what she believes and she has facts and figures behind what she says. That kind of sincerity is its own brand of charisma.

Agreed. Anytime she is in a one on one interview she is ****ed near perfect. She can speak about some pretty high end topics and do it in a way that isnt over the head of most people. Sometimes though her speeches are tailor made for the media to make her look bat[bleep] crazy though and they will because the media is stupid and complicit.

It's less about that crowd (who are insurmountably fatuous and compromised) and more about proving to us that you can go into the Den of Morons, a.k.a. most of America, and not be sliced up by third graders with knives. Hillary would have been exposed as a sham in her first fifteen minutes on Fox. To be a successful politician you have to perform where most people live: in filth, ignorance, and stupidity, and you have to tap into one of the Great Unwashed's facile tropes. Warren, like Sanders, is a Jeremiah. She speaks truth to power. The dumbf-cks won't like the content but they'll like the persona, and while none of their minds can be changed from the setting Rush froze it on 20 years ago, performing in that environment shows a player who will go after the puck in the corners. Everybody respects that, and it will help pull in more Democratic votes.

Even though the town hall was on MSNBC she had to answer tough questions and Hayes is no slouch for pinning his subjects to the wall on things. It was a much tougher environment than Mayor Pete had recently with his Town Hall on Hardball with Chris Matthews. That was a cakewalk.

If that’s the case, then I think it’s safe to say the young voters and the left wing of the Democratic Party sat at home. He’s a perfectly cromulent choice. If the voters reject Biden, we deserve Trump.

Once again, not everybody follows politics closely. Most Americans are, what's the word I'm looking for?, stupid. They buy a candidate like they buy books, movies, or food: for stupid reason. If you're a pol you need to factor them in or you lose.
