Let me see if I have this straight. The person who ends up appealing to the majority of the Dem electorate via the primaries probably shouldn't be the nominee because they might not inspire enough Dems to vote?Umm...okay, so we should really be choosing whoever finishes 2nd? 3rd? 5th?
Its not like we're back to a floor fight at the convention and a smoky back room here. The Dem nominating contest will be even more democratic in 2020 as more states are getting away from caucuses and moving to primaries. Whoever wins that (Bernie, Biden, Harris, Warren, etc) is our best bet to win the Presidency.
