That was finally Laker hockey. It has been a while since we saw that. Dominant in all three zones speed to burn, plenty of hustle and 8 goals. Z was solid even though he never really was tested. Brockport hung tough for a while but the Laker's wore them down then tore them apart. When was the last time we could say that? Burack made some nice saves to keep it close for a while. I also thought the officiating was excellent.

Yes, that SUNYAC final against Geneseo was probably the most exciting game I've ever seen.

Hope they are in shape for Saturday in Plattsburgh.

Not much more I can say about last nights game,we have NOT seen that team all year .Brockport has played the best teams in the YAC close all yr,they stayed close with good netminding then the floodgates opened.The forecheck was great and we finished many shots,just need to tell Hart to take it down a notch on his slapper,I think he wants to put the puck through the boards and it hurts accuracy.Davies back,any word on Iggy and Scott?? This was a full game from start to finish,Zman was good enough,not tested to much.Special teams was a draw but we did look better.....Lets get ready to rumble...

The shutout last night was the 5th of the season for Z and 11th of his career tying him with Andrew Hare for most in a career by a Laker goalie. He has pretty strong numbers this season with a 2.04 GAA and .920 save percentage despite his 8-5-2 record. A little goal support and he be having a stellar year.

I totally agree with this comment. The first period of that game was close. Brockport missed fired on a couple and Z made some saves. Then it was all Oswego.
IMO we don't have the depth that Platty has, but our top 11 guys (including Z) are as good as anyone's.
It sure would be sweet revenge:).

In as much as I have seen all games this year the Lakers have not put it together like they have the last two games. 15 goals and very good defense. Finally an advantage on face offs. Are we excited to see this game in Plattsburgh tomorrow night? We have our tickets and two rooms.
