I gave up after awhile, did anyone get video,I cant believe we scored 7 goals:eek:, I need to see the video....who do we get wed night??

Just because i am up way too early without anything better to do....the SUNYAC Championship Game could return to Oswego IF (yes, yes, yes, a HUGE IF) Lakers beat Brockport and Potsdam beats Genny...Lakers beat Buff State and Postdam beats Platty...Oswego hosts Potty....after the way the Laker season and the conference has gone this year...well, you know. It all starts Wednesday - I think the video will work :D #HockeyNightInOswego #SurviveAndAdvance

Quick check of the brackets, we are better off the 4th seed than the 3rd given the reg season records against the North Country teams

What we saw last night was three strait periods of intensity from the Lakers. Something we have not seen all year. We were elated that two freshman scored, Connor Boyd, his first collegiate goal, and TJ, Sneath with also an assist. This third line finally got on the board last night and that was the big story. Also we finally got the majority of the face offs .
Brockport coming in Weds. Buckle up.

Looking at the year end overall stats for our conference we tied for 2nd in GA (with Platty), but 3rd worst in GF. Aside from the defensive breakdowns resulting in some one goal heartbreakers, we will need to net a lot more than our average to advance. More Saturday night fellas, not so much Friday Night. Buff State, who would of thought, getting a bye.....Go Lakers.

there seem to be many one goal/Ot games,the top 5 or 6 teams are very close in the YAC,that said one game,last night vs Freddy does not a season make,lets hope we dont resort to the Buff st game type of scoring.I think Lou has it all figured out anyway,home championship game sounds good:D..I would hope the the pro's with GPA's do a better job than Freddy did,I'm sure they will.......GREAT to see some secondary scoring last night,both for the score sheet and the confidence,we have been missing it alllllll yr....Zman gets the start,and the special teams had better get their sh*t together,they are HUGE come playoff time not to mention discipline,which we have been lacking,i.e. Fedrow's 3 pens the other night,2 slashing and a hooking pen,I would rather see a crosscheck in front of the net burring a guy who got to close to the goalie......Lets go LAKERS

I hope the Juniors realize how lucky they are to be playing at home tonight and play like Juniors should play. I found it interesting that Oswego scores 7 and Hulsof and Galatie were both out. Hopefully they will play better hockey in the second season than in the first one. Does Ed start Adrian who really saved Oswego from just a terrible year or teh very inconstant Z-man??

I would say Zawadski based on his play of late. Besides the breakdown has been the 2 skaters in front of him. If the d-men play well tonight; even if we only net a couple three four; we should advance. Too many "ifs" I know.

Wow, don't see that at all. Adrian didn't start once against Platts or Geneseo, the one game he started against Buffalo, we dominated. My point is Z-man took most of the tough starts, in no way did Adrian save Oswego. The argument is mute, Adrian has been hurt/or something, it's Z-man the rest of the way by de-fault, but he would be my first choice anyway.

Very interesting point about Galatti, Hulsof however played. From late in the second period until the end, Coach Ed, didn't play the top guys much, line 3 and 4 didn't waste their opportunity.

Ok Zman get the nod,he needs to step up,in hopefully the next few:pgames.Did not know Iggy was out cant see the bench to well,I did read that Joseph was dressed as the backup?? Is he the only backup we have??Lets hope Zman does not get the cramps:eek:....Special teams play must be good, discipline and take one for the team is a must...Go Lakers....edit yes Joseph has been backup for past 3 games,do we need to chase down Gilbert??

We were definitely firing on all cylinders tonight, they chose the right time of year to pull it together, hopefully they can keep it together.

The best 60 minutes of hockey the Lakers have played all season. The D looked great for they didn't chase the puck. Z-man played a nice game and had some nice saves too. Gotta give B'port goalie credit he kept the game a lot closer that it could have been, He made some great saves to keep B'port in it as long as they were.
Don't know what coach G is doing but he might have finally solved the woes of this team. If they can keep this intensity up against Platty it will be a barn burner. Don't know who judges on who will be the 3 stars but they need to be fired. A goalie who gets a shut out always gets the first star!!!

Nice to see the way they were all over Brockport tonight, never gave them much of a chance to get anything going, a real team effort. I thought the Second period was the best they have played all season. Actually feel relatively confident that the third time will be the charm and they can finish against Plattsburg. Didn't they win the SUNYAC not too long ago by going through Plattsburg and Geneseo on the road? Could be a repeat.
