That was the location of the shot, after that, all I seen was the net's reaction to the puck - and it was over. The game was all at was expected to be - the clash of titans - as a Cardinal fan I have been your side of the fence, heartbreaking for sure, but proud to be able to make it to the heartbreak - this is far from the last post season Laker-Cardinal game - and I'll admit - I hope is next Spring :cool:

an ugly end to a pretty ugly season....that said we played very well last night and got beaten on a fluke goal,but thats how it happens sometimes good luck to the Birds.

Thanks. Met a couple of Oswego guys who are long time Laker fans last night. Had interesting talk about the rivalry, our histories and how much we all enjoy it. Very pleasant conversation.

Absolutely what it was. "knuckle puck" like. Herlihey dove from (where the scrum for possession was) the boards to block shot, I believe it was off his stick. Very deflating moment.
Great finish to a turbulent season, for a team returning a butt load of talent and character. WE'LL GET'EM NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hope the returning talent pulls a Paul Rodrigues and works hard during their offseason to come back better than ever

Half or more of the team will be seniors:eek:,you would think the way this season went/ended that would be motivation enough.

Dillian Fox, 5'11", 189 lbs... Size is relative in Div III....

I agree....the motivation is there...something to prove...and let's bring in the next generation while we are at it.

understood,BUT Whitelaw had 40goals his last season in the OJHL and P Rod had 2 back to back 90point seasons in the OJHL before he came to Oz...........just saying......also ya cant coach size ......and speed.........or heart for that matter

Our best line at the end of season --> far and away was Neil, Barton, Herlihey --> NO SIZE THERE; Ferreria, Davies, and Sneath were Solid--> No size there. Give me a kid with some talent, work ethic, and heart... I don't care if he's 6'8" or 5'4". It's DIII College hockey, Size and mad skills are all gobbled up by D1 schools.
