UMD vs MSU scoreless tie after one. SOG UMD 9 - MSU 10

Good quick entertaining game so far.

Huge improvement in MSU's video quality and graphics from a few years ago and it's nice that they've always had instant replays.

Play by play and colour included for the price.

UMD 3 - MSU 0 after two.

Stalder with a short handed goal just 7 seconds into the period then UMD scored with 4 minutes and then again with 6 seconds remaining in the period.

The play had been quite even until then with end to end action.

RPI 4, Union 2.

RPI, which came in averaging about 20-21 shots per game, put up a season-high 43 shots against Union.

Minnesota wins 7-1 in a game that was probably closer than that without ever really being in doubt.

UW controlled long stretches and managed to get O zone line changes about 6 times. The 3rd period was kinda weird, very few shots, it reminded me of a heavy weight boxing match with both fighters jabbing and just trying to find a mistake for the knockout punch, which never came. I have to believe UW's large advantage in depth @ F will pay dividends tomorrow. We shall see.

Wisconsin has a 2-0 lead over Clarkson after two periods...Annie Pankowski with both goals.

That union goalie is crazy good. 4 years at the bottom of the ECAC and she is still fighting every game, not only that she has gotten better. 842 saves and a .924%!!! That's like having played 8 to 10 more games than everybody else. Having said that what's really crazy is playing with that tenacity behind 3+ losing seasons?

I expected (and kind of still do expect) a change on the 2nd goal. Pankowski shot, but Britney Ammerman was in front and maybe tipped it. Ammerman led the team over to the bench for the fist bumps, so I think she (they) think she got the goal.

North Dakota scores first to take a 1-0 lead over Bemidji State. Andrea Dalen with the goal...still in the first period...

Probably, I don't think Burt will need to sweat the load anytime soon, look at the next recruit class. It is interesting though, both Laden and Burt have a lot going for them all things considered albeit the team and or coaching staff.
