Penn State sweeps Mercyhurst with a 4-3 win today. Laura Bowman led the way with two goals, including netting the game winner with just under two minutes to go. Fellow ex-Minnetonka high grad Hannah Ehresmann made 26 saves in goal to record the win.

Bemidji and St. Cloud are scoreless after one.

And UND completes the sweep over RIT, winning 6-1.

St. Cloud is up 2-0 on Bemidji late
Final was 3-0 after an empty-netter. Katie Fitzgerald with a 34-save shutout.

With that result and Mercyhurst's weekend, it's too bad we have to wait until January for another set of fan rankings.

In front of an impressive crowd of 1200 plus. Nice home ice advantage seems to be developing.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

Buckeyes have a 1-0 lead in Bemidji...end of 2nd. Only 10 SOG for OSU according to live stats with a PP tally.

Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

3rd is underway in Bemidji. Beavers best turn it up...probably need a sweep to avoid a drop out of Top Ten.

Beavers go down 0-2. Buckeyes had a two man advantage at the very end of the game and scored the empty net clincher with just 18 seconds remaining. Beavers did outshoot them 33-14.

The Buckeyes complete the sweep, 2-1. Claudia Kepler had both goals, versus a lone tally from Alexis Joyce. OSU sweeps all four games of the season series from Bemidji State.

Maybe Bemidji will drop out eventually after all
They could. They are on the road the whole month of January. First the l-o-n-g bus ride to Lindenwood, and then road trips to Duluth, Madison, and Grand Forks. Plus, they really only have one weekend off for the break. The WCHA is a grind for teams like Bemidji, because they don't score much, so games are always tight.

After dropping a tough overtime game in Princeton earlier in the year, RPI Engineers come back to edge the Tigers 4-3 today to split the season series.
