Re: 2014-2015 Division I Scores & Results Thread

What in the world is with Wisconsin against Minnesota?
This is how Mark Johnson responded to a similar question on Monday:
QUESTION: Mark, how did Minnesota get your number?

JOHNSON: They got our number, they got everybody else's number, too. Put it in their back pocket. Two years ago they didn't lose a game. Last year they only lost in the National Championship game, and North Dakota beat them earlier in the year.

So they haven't lost many games. They've had good chemistry the last couple of years, and they've found ways to beat us. It was evident last year in the semifinal game. You know, we play the strong game. It looked like we were going to have a real good chance to beat them and they came out in the third period and found a way to score a couple of goals.

BC leads Cornell 3-2 after 2 periods. 5 goals in the second after a scoreless first period.

Mercyhurst up 1-0 in the middle of the second.

Clarkson taking out some frustrations on Syracuse. 5-0

They missed the PAT.

That is a screwy box score when you look at the times of the first period goals. Did they start counting down and then switch to counting up?

Whoever is counting has a tough job today. 9 - 0 now. Three minutes left.

UW 2 Bemiji 1 is a final...I have no info on how the game actually went, but that's kind of an underwhelming result for UW.

Looking at the shots it seems like the game was not close through two periods, and BSU got one back in the third and played quite a bit better.

Just going off following the box score though.

I would agree. BSU's only goal was a ppg and overall UW outshot them by a 2-1 margin, 31 to 15. At this point I still have UW @ 2 in my rankings.

The rodents had what looks to be on paper a tight game with the sue, with 2 engs. The sue may be tougher than thought.
