How is that our fault? I fail to see how it would be.. Who is holding a gun to Sauls' face saying he HAS to come to Utica twice this year..? Seriously.

I doubt Elmira has to go to Utica twice again this year. I believe that is just an error/typo in the schedule. (Many teams in the past have mistakes in the schedule when it is tentatively released) The reason why Elmira had to go to Utica twice for the second year in a row last year was because of the addition of Nazareth (Manhattanville had to play at Elmira and at Hobart twice each for the second consecutive year as well). There are no new teams in the conference this year so there is no reason for Elmira to be playing at Utica twice again. My guess is that the January 31st game will be played in Elmira and not in Utica.

That what I was thinking too. If I find out there's a change, I'll let everyone know.

Technically the Elmira schedule hasn't been officially released. This is what I was e-mailed. Sometimes there are tweaks between the original version I get in May and the final version usually released in July. I will post any updates I get.

What irks me the most is that both games, if they are in fact at Utica, are on a Friday night. Makes it hard for the "working" folks to get off in time to make the trip.

If the two games listed at Utica aren't back to back, but on different weekends, I'm pretty sure there just an error in the League's Master Schedule.

Speaking of which, does anybody have access to the ECAC West League Master schedule? Hopefully I can plan for some road trips.

Not necessarily. It appears that the league is trying to avoid overnights whenever possible. So a Friday at Utica and a Saturday at Elmira and a 2nd road game at a different date would not be unusual.
