Tough enough to play against the Golden Knights even strength, but RPI is spending too much time in the sin bin. Much of it deserved, but at times the refs this weekend have looked like D3 refs, where the general rule seems to be...if someone goes down, call a penalty. From what I have seen of Clarkson today I would be surprised if they don't go to the final four.

Clarkson 5 RPI 1 Final
Clarkson 3-7 on the PP
Outshooting RPI 47-12

HU/QU 2/2 OT Final

BTW, is there anything scarier than being forced to watch your opponent's PP on "Live Stats"?

Opponent penalty shots on "Live Stats" are pretty anxious as well, but yes, a late three-on-five is rough. The QU audio was available, and it really didn't sound that bad from the Crimson side.

According to the CHA website, they're tied now, no?
You are correct. Mercyhurst may hold the tiebreaker for seeding -- the CHA website is rather vague on the tiebreakers -- but if they finish tied, they will each be named conference champs.

Re: 2013-2014 D-I Scores and Results Updates Thread

I may be wrong...don't have time atm to check but I think GF-GA determines the tie breaker...none the less...the season isn't over
Anything could happen

The CHA site has something vague like consideration of results head to head, so it isn't clear if that means wins/losses or if it progresses to goals head to head, but I suspect you are correct.

In the first game of the 2014 Beanpot Northeastern leads Harvard 4-1 at the end of two periods of play.

In the first game of the 2014 Beanpot Northeastern leads Harvard 4-1 at the end of two periods of play.

Harvard faces a team with a shorter bench than its own and still struggles.

Re: 2013-2014 D-I Scores and Results Updates Thread

And now Northeastern is up 4-3. Harvard might want to start playing with intensity before there are only twelve minutes let in the game.

Lots of crazy bounce goals in this one but Northeastern was on the hop from the git go and Harvard was not.
