2013-2014 D-I Scores and Results Updates Thread

Re: 2013-2014 D-I Scores and Results Updates Thread

Wow... just looked at the national live scoreboard and was surprised to see absolutely no D-I games starting before 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT. Usually some game is being played on a Friday afternoon somewhere.

After two periods RPI leads QU 3-0. Engineers have been skating circles around the Bobcats, but do they have enough left in the tank to survive the third period?

And also after two: Union leads Princeton 2-0.

There are some interesting scores at the moment, plus an apparent news blackout from Erie. Will they stand?

BC and NU tie 1-1. Looking like BC is going to need to win Hockey East to make the tournament and earn a date with Minnesota who will freight train us to the tune of 8-0. Unfortunately we seem to be playing down to every opponent. No chance of making the tournament as an at-large when weaker teams have a 50-50 shot of beating you.

BC had a 5 on 3 with 5 minutes left for 1:30 and then another power play with 2:30 left and still couldn't score.

Sigh.
