Re: 2013-2014 D-I Scores and Results Updates Thread

BU 4 - UMD 2 final. SOG 35 -21 for UMD!

Apparently a penalty-fest. BU up 4-0 early in the third...UMD scored 2 then got another disallowed late in the game.

Looks like a 2-1 Minnesota Duluth win at the expense of St. Cloud at the HBNHC this afternoon.

Also appears NoDak has taken the opener vs. Minnesota State in Mankato with a 5-2 win.

It's exhibition, but it's hockey, so...

North Dakota 7, Manitoba Maple Leafs 0 - Shots were 55-15 UND. Meghan Dufault netted at hat trick and Michelle Karvinen recorded 3 assists. Shelby Amsley-Benzie started but was replaced by Lexie Shaw just past the halfway mark.

Interesting tidbit: There were familiar faces on the ice as the Manitoba Maple Leafs recruited former UND players for the afternoon. Melissa Jaques, Ashley Paulson, Margot Miller, Ashley Holmes and Ashley Furia all made the trek out of retirement. Miller earned the game’s third star of the game after a solid night of defense, including blocking two shots on goal.

So, this game actually did take place! Did Manitoba have a full bench? The score was predictable.

Should have scheduled Shattuck-St. Mary's, or Minnetonka High School. Either one would have given them a better game.

Looks like Ohio State put a beatin' on Lindenwood earlier this afternoon.

Wisconsin with a 2-1 lead in St. Cloud...3rd period.

That wasn't Lindenwood.

And Wisco added an empty-netter for a 3-1 win.
