..yeah but in order to be honored with all that fan love.. ya gotta make it to the Stadium first :)

Who wouldn't love having cups of beer or urine being heaved at them from the stands? Or better yet, beer mixed with urine, with a little vomit tossed in?

Who said anything about hosting it at Lynah? :D

(Cornell fans, I'm totally joking. You're way to classy for that, and I mean it sincerely. So long, and thanks for all the fish.)

I'd rather try Pittsburgh than go back to Buffalo this round but not because Buffalo was bad. My wife and I enjoyed western NY far more than we anticipated. Chippewa Street was a good place to mingle with lots of hockey fans. The trip to Niagra Falls and Toronto on the off day to see the Hockey Hall of Fame (along with about 10,000 other fans) as well as catch the Twins/Blue Jays game was great. I just like going new places and having never been to Pittsburgh, I've had no reason to go, it seems like a logical place to want to see the event.

Boston 2013
Pittsburgh 2014
Milwaukee 2015

Next round of bids:
Buffalo 2016
Nashville 2017 (assuming Tampa works)
Chicago 2018

That seems like a pretty **** good idea for the bids. Draw it up and send it to the NCAA.

Fort Wayne would be excellent. I know its hosting regionals this year, but people are in love with hockey around here. The Komets are beloved and fans pour into the Coliseum. We just need an NCAA team in Fort Wayne. Michigan and Notre Dame players mentioned it was the best ice they played on a few years ago. Plus the new hotels for Harrison Field should be finished by these years.

A FF at Fort Wayne? Absolutely not. Good for regionals, hell no for the FF. It'd be better suited at the Hartford Civic Center than there.

Wow, it's like a gigantic version of Appleton Arena.

I wonder if this arena has ice capabilities....

the Blaisdell Center said:
Recent events include performances by Elton John, Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, ‘N Sync, Lee Ann Rimes and Jimmy Buffett, as well as family entertainment such as Disney on Ice, Sesame Street, college basketball and volleyball, international gymnastics and martial arts exhibitions.

Yes. ;)

(but it only seats 8000)

I would definitely cast my vote for Pittsburgh - it's not a bad place to hang out for a few days. PNC Park is wonderful; the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a short drive away (worth driving to Cleveland to see), and there are plenty of great places to eat and drink.

For that matter, Cleveland wouldn't be a bad place either.

That arena has no where near the necessary capacity to host a Frozen Four.

Besides - looking at a list of host cities, you'd get places like Boston, Washington DC, Denver, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Fort Wayne? One of these things is not like the other.

If Notre Dame wants to bid on a FF as they did with the Fort Wayne regional, they should convince the United Center to bid on it and finally get Chicago in the loop.

I thought that the loop was in Chicago not vice versa. ;)

The San Jose area really has supported the Sharks maybe they should place a bid.

Re: 2013, '14, '15 Frozen Four Sites

Places I would like to see host the Frozen Four:
Pittsburgh
New York
Boston
Chicago
Milwaukee
Philadelphia

I was thinking that too. They really seem to have embraced hockey, to some extent, out there. I think that could be a success just like Washington DC. It would be fun to take a trip to San Francisco (under an hour according to google) and check out Alcatraz, on the Friday of the FF.

Giants baseball game would be awesome. I hear AT&T Park is a gem.
