Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

He is not my candidate, I throwing my vote away to Johnson. I see no difference between Obama and Romney, they are both bought and paid for.

Welcome to the club. I took a look at a preview copy of the NY ballot; he's on there.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

Look who has been accepting foreign donations.

Here's the question, though... how do you enforce this? What is the possible repercussions? Are we going to end up seeing Romney vs. Obama in the Supreme Court, like we saw Bush vs. Gore in 2000?
Here's the question, are you as worried about Romney's superpac getting a million dollar donation from a canadian company subsidiary as you are about Obama supposedly receiving a 5$ donation from someone out of the country?

Oh but I'm just sooo sure that you're not for either candidate.

???? how does one getting money from a foreign country, and the other getting money from canada make any comparison??

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

You can troll better than this, come on.

i don't know... this has some merit.

i hit on canada for being a state
i hit on obama for only having him getting foreign money.

i think this ain't half bad
:D

You forgot to wink at the end.

Of, from, in, or characteristic of a country or language other than one's own: "a foreign language".

Your source even says those donating are from Connecticut. Nice try.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

His Blowingitness has announced a high level blue ribbon commission to investigate possible illegal foreign donations to the Romney campaign. Charlie Trie will chair the panel.

Nice try but no. Mitt has no chance here if they want to waste their cash then they are even dumber than I have been saying they are...so I expect to see ads any day!

Put it this way, I will bet on the Gopher Football team to win the National Title before I would bet on Mitt getting Minnesota's Electoral Votes. No hyperbole, I am dead serious. Hell I make a pledge that if going into election day there is any real heat behind the idea he could win here, I will vote for him over my write in of El Guapo/Jefe. I am not worried ;)

Did you happen to read the stuff after the comma? Why am I even asking?

a “wholly-owned subsidiary” of Canadian insurance and investment management giant Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.

Even that senile piece of garbage pio didn't want to try and touch that article, choosing instead to continue trying to slut shame a woman who's only "crime" was to not put an aspirin between her knees for healthcare.

You're surprised the State that elected Michelle Bachmann would go Romney?

How, by the way, did that woman become elected? Did she not get a chance to speak her thoughts before it was too late?

The state didn't elect Michelle Bachmann. Her district did.

I've literally never seen her run an ad that has talked about her or her ideas. It's all negative ads painting her opponents as queer-loving, anti-American, big spenders. That's all you need in a fairly conservative district.

I have no idea what the polling numbers are like, but her race this year might actually be competitive, between going up against someone with deep enough pockets to go commercial-for-commercial with her, and her having a chance to show off her lunacy last year during her presidential run.
