Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

My confidence in the stupidity of man is rarely shaken.

well, if I only knew how to embed a music file...

Let us put men and women together, see which one is smarter,
Some say men, but I say no, women got the men like a puppet show.

It ain't me, it's the people that say, men are leading women astray,
I say, it's the women today, smarter than the men in every way,
That's right, the women are smarter, the women are smarter, that's right.

Little boy sitting in the corner and cry, big man come and ask him why,
He said "I can't do what the big boys do", the man sat down and he cried too.

It ain't me, it's the people that say, men are leading women astray,
I say, it's the women today, smarter than the men in every way.
That's right, the women are smarter, the women are smarter, that's right

Ever since the world began, women been imitating the ways of men,
But listen, cause I've got a plan, give it up, just don't try to understand.

It ain't me, it's the people that say, men are leading women astray,
I say, it's the women today, smarter than the men in every way.
That's right, the women are smarter, the women are smarter, that's right

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

Though, given the overall tenor of the campaign so far, this song is probably more apropos....

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free,
Dizzy with eternity.
Paint it with a skin of sky, brush in some clouds and sea....
Call it home for you and me.

A peaceful place, or so it looks from space...
A closer look reveals the human race.
Full of hope, full of grace, is the human face.
But afraid, we may lay our home to waste.

There's a fear down here we can't forget....
Hasn't got a name just yet....
Always awake, always around, singing ashes to ashes, all fall down.

Now watch as the ball revolves and the nighttime calls
And again the hunt begins and again the bloodwind calls
By and by again, the morning sun will rise,
But the darkness never goes from some men's eyes.

It strolls the sidewalks and it rolls the streets,
Stalking turf, dividing up meat.
Nightmare spook, piece of heat, you and me, you and me.

Click, flashblade in ghetto night. Rudy's looking for a fight.
Rat cat alley, roll them bones, need that cash to feed that jones
And the politicians throwing stones
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Commissars and pin-striped bosses role the dice
Any way they fall: guess who gets to pay the price.
Money green or proletarian gray, selling guns instead of food today.

So the kids they dance, they shake their bones,
While the politicians throwing stones,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Heartless powers try to tell us what to think
If the spirit's sleeping, then the flesh is ink.
History's page, it is thusly carved in stone
The future's here, we are it, we are on our own.
If the game is lost, then we're all the same:
No one left to place or to take the blame.

Will we leave this place an empty stone?
Or this shinning ball of blue we can call our home?

So the kids they dance, they shake their bones
While the politicians are throwing stones
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Shipping powders back and forth,
Singing black goes south while white comes north.
And the whole world full of petty wars,
Singing I got mine and you got yours.
And the current fashions set the pace.
Lose your step, fall out of grace.
And the radical he rant and rage, singing someone got to turn the page,
And the rich man in his summer home,
Singing just leave me well enough alone.
But his pants are down, his cover's blown,
And the politicians are throwing stones.
So the kids they dance, they shake their bones....

Cause it's all too clear we're on our own....

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free:
It's dizzying, the possibilities....

ashes, ashes all fall down.

then a nice guitar chord and we swing into something upbeat, eh? :)

Harry Belafonte says he's worried a Romney victory will usher in an era of "unbridled capitalism," whatever that means. Apart from the elephant in the room: his career is based entirely on taking advantage of his talent through "unbridled capitalism," is the fact that this hummingbird brained libstain racist referred to General Powell and Dr. Rice as "house n-words."

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

This is a good example of why you and Mittens always end up coming off like idiots. You get caught up in lame debates about semantics and end up getting slapped down publicly for all to see.

Obama called it a terrorist act from the get-go. No amount of spin is going to change the public record. Furthermore, even better was Obama's solemn but forceful condemnation right to Romney's face about how he was the one greeting the caskets with the families, thus making the Mittwit's ridiculous political posturing downright treasonous.

Its really a difference in two forms of leadership. One is the guy who is ultimately responsible for the success and failure in thousands of places around the world where the the fight against terrorists rages 24/7. The other is a panderer and his followers hoping for an overseas incident and sending out false press releases before the bodies have even been identified. When Beirut embassy was bombed, Democrats weren't putting out press releases blasting Reagan's leadership. How far conservatives have come, and its small wonder the GOP is as popular as jock itch right now.

No he didn't. He used the phrase "acts of terror" in the 10th paragraph of his statement. Immediately after he talked about 9/11. If he were unambiguously asserting Benghgazi was a terrorist attack (more dangerous to his campaign an AQ attack, since as he used to say, but no longer does "they're on the run.") then why not say so from the outset? And clearly? This is the smartest guy in any room, remember?

But even if you give him the benefit of the doubt, he meant to classify the Benghazi disaster as an AQ, attack, he really did. Then how do you explain the multiple subsequent statements which downplayed the possiblity that it was an AQ operation? And the massive dissembling on this business of the video?

The only answer, the only explanation is that His Weakness realized this event was a body blow to his posing as the greatest foreign policy president since Nixon. That AQ was not only not "on the run," but capable of staging multiple "demonstrations" in multiple countries to commemorate the 11th anniversary of 9/11. And kill an ambassador and three other diplomats in the process. So deny, deny, deny that it was AQ, "we're investigating." And float that manifestly silly explanation about the video. By admitting, as you say he did, the day after Benghazi, that it was a terror attack, you're admitting that virtually everything out of the mouths of the administration in the subsequent two weeks was a lie. Including that pathetic performance where he groveled and lied before the UN--referring to that stupid video half a dozen times.

What happened 30 years ago has no bearing now. We've got an election coming up in a couple of weeks, and the American people are entitled to know what a lying, cynical fark-up their president is. And that they can do something about it if they want.

Speaking of caskets. Those poor devils finally got the Marines they wanted, when their bodies came back to Dover AFB.

What? Elect the other lying fark-up? If Obama's nose is growing then Romney's pants are on fire.

Any lingering doubt about whether Whoopi Goldberg is a stupid, ignorant, malevalent libstain b*tch is gone. She claimed on her stupid, libstain program, that LDS people don't serve in the military. I had a CO in the AF who was LDS. Apart from being a blatant effort to help His Losingness, this is a two-fer, she can also smear the LDS church. Nice.

I'd imagine this cow has expressed herself more than once about how awful it is to "disrespect" Islam.

I wonder if she asked Moocelle about "God d*mn America?" You know, her minister, who presided at her wedding and baptized her two daughers.

Ignorance is bliss. Until you're the one asking questions on a TV program.

And once again you trying to rescue Mittens from embarassment only makes you look stupid as well. What you seem to be having a great deal of trouble with is the notion that the causes of the attack and the perpetrators was still fuzzy for some time, and when that happens you get a lot of mixed messages. Unfortunate, but not deceptive. So yes it did take some time to sort the whole story out which is not too surprising. One might say if they didn't know the full story they shouldn't have said anything at all which while an ideal way to handle this is unrealistic in the midst of a Presidential campaign when the opposition candidate is putting out false press releases a half hour after the attack.

Much like Mittens got his clock cleaned this week, he'll do so again next week as he's clueless on foreign policy. Should be fun seeing him explain another 2T in unpaid for military spending while seeking to join a war in Syria.

False press releases? You mean like the statement from the embassy in Cairo, apologizing to the Islamist mob that tore down our flag and replaced it with AQ's jihad banner?

There was no equivocation, from His Islamistness right on down. Ambassador Rice, days after the event, went on 6 Sunday talk shows and proclaimed this video nobody had ever heard of was the "cause" of these "spontaneous demonstrations." Besides, of what relevance are the "causes" of this event anyway? Islamist savages don't need much in the way of motivation to act true to type.

I guess all those senior State Department people were perjuring themselves when they testified that the assault had nothing to do with a video. That, in fact, there was no "demonstraton" of any kind, just an attack. That the security situation in Benghazi was deteriorating. That Ambassador Stevens (among others) had made multiple requests for addition security, which were turned down. In fact, security in Benghazi was diminished, not increased. That this was a terror attack from the git go. And most probably AQ (how can that be, they're "on the run," His Truthlessness says so?).

And you say, His Islamistness made that clear in the Rose Garden. Why so anxious to give him the benefit of a doubt he clearly doesn't deserve? Maybe because his vulgar claims that "GM is alive and Osama Bin Laden is dead" have been exposed as what they are: campaign slogans nothing else. Looks like AQ may not be "on the run" after all, eh?

You remind me of Monty Python's Black Knight: "'Tis but a scratch." This is a scratch that has the potential to send that jumped community organizer back to Chicago. Where he belongs.

She and Obama are absolute disgraces to the left-handed community.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election Part 4

Is Bill on the ticket? What should I ask him? Why? Should I ask Abraham Lincoln too?

Oh, possibly because you think Romney's lack of service is some sort of BFD, but probably didn't think the same thing about Clinton's lying to Colonel Holmes at the U. of Arkansas. "Thank you for saving me from the draft."
