Besides, having your sexuality questioned because you play a sport by ignorant guys (who probably feel that a woman's place is in the kitchen) is pretty cruel, too.

Not that I'm bitter or jaded or anything... :o ;)

Edit: Not that this is on topic at all. Back to cruises...

And you all wonder why I wear shoes whenever I'm in my kitchen.

BUT09 - when I was working in racing, I didn't have any guys questioning my sexual preference, (the opposite rather, I usually got proposed to a couple of times a season) but I did have plenty that did not believe me that I worked in the garage area.

If it makes her feel any better...I'll be wearing sunglasses so she won't know I'm staring at her. :D

In regards to liquor...how about non liquor bottles such as shampoo and stuff? Or do they check those too?

Will there be lawn mowers to toss?

This is a cool idea if

A) Nobody brings the flu along
B) USCHO Posters game at the rink everyday?
C) The women to men ration is higher than Tech (which isnt difficult)
D) Free?

Who can you pick on if not your boyfriend's siblings? :p ;)

So, I ran this idea past Robbie tonight. He's on board with it assuming we can afford the trip and find child care. :)

Since I first mentioned this to the boss, she keeps talking about it. I'm starting to wonder if she ever went on a vacation before meeting me.

Update:
Called Royal Carribbean- and their basic group deal is the same as it was almsot 10 years ago- for 16 guests, one of them would get a free base fare (still have to pay taxes, etc etc). What I've done in the past is refund the group an equal amount based on the refund.

And due to their time frame, they suggested that I use a travel agent for a single point of contact for them, and it very much opens up what would be a 30 day window to up to closer to 6 months....

So I called a travel agent that is used for my company employee organization, and they are happy to organize it. I'll hear back from them next week (while I'm on vacation).

Considering the time frame, they even suggest doing some promotion at rinks. :eek:

They (Volare Travel) will start with looking into the base cruise, and then give some options for flights as well. Option is the word- so IF they can give you a better deal....

Anyway, if you know people who go to FF's, and are not here, mention it to them as a vacation option. Anyone is welcome to come, that's for sure.

I may call one more travel agent before setting one in stone- there's one in Ann Arbor that RCCL seems to like to work with, so I'll call them after lunch.

What time frame will you be looking for people to commit by?

I'm in, but how am I to know who my boyfriend will be (and thus will be dragged on the cruise with me) in April 2012?
