Was it good legislation? I doubt it.

From your perspective, probably not. I mean, who cares about tobacco regulations, fair pay, food safety, hate crimes or the minimum wage?

Speaking of high standards...is it just me...or does it seem like this election is different.

Seems in past years, Republican voters have unified on who will give them the best chance to beat Dems. IMO that was the number one between HC and BO. This year conservative expectations for candidates are much higher..as in I want my candidate. No compromise. Perhaps an unintended consequence of the rigidity of the Tea Party.

By name dropping and telling stories about things that happened to him 40 years ago.

Mope. At the end of the day, all libtards can do is call names and make personal attacks. No arguments of substance. You're all so afraid people will see through your scam.

That's what Bachmann wants, but that's not what the polls say. There's no way the true right wing of the party could support either Romney or Perry yet there they sit in the lead.

Fox News Poll

23% Romney
19% Rick Perry
17% Herman Cain
11% Gingrich

That looks like a party who wants McCain, Dole, etc.

Yeah, that's what we need, Deadmeat and his pals regulating "fair pay." Sounds a little socialist to me.

I think the true right did support Perry. I think they were surprised at what they got. Perry still wants to shift DOE resources to the DOD. He still wants to repeal RvW, put Christianity in govt and stop gay marriage. And he wants to have a heavy hand in doing so. These are not things the right opposes.

But as with Romney's list, Perry's list is not good enough after seeing one or two items that are missing.

Perry is educating illegal aliens and gives them preferential treatment over Americans. Perry forces teenage girls to get an STD Shot. If that doesn't disqualify him then perhaps him being an ex-Democrat will.

That's not true right.

Bachmann is true right. Santorum maybe.

You're trying to be this ironic, right?

Don't forget: I'm a racist, a homophobe and stupid, too. All hard hitting substantive arguments advanced by the ladies libtard chorale, over and over again. I've had a long and some would say successful career. If you want to deny yourself the benefit of my wisdom and experience, suit yourself. But please don't complain when I try to overcome the ignorance that runs rampant around here, like AIDS in an 80's San Francisco bath house.

If anyone would know what a substantive argument without insult looks like, it would be you!

I don't smoke, Fair pay, what the F is that and who determines it, I grow as much of my own food as I can and until ADM and Cargill and the rest of agribusiness are out of market kiss food safety goodbye and we all know Pelosi hasn't got balls enough to take them on. Minimum wage should be 8 thousand an hour in your world I'm sure

Plus, unwarranted increases in the minimum wage is a wet dream for union goons, who desperately want to "organize" the fast food industry. If you have to pay adult wages, you won't hire teenagers.

I'm glad that you live on a commune and nothing Congress does will ever effect you. For the rest of us, those are great changes.
