Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

So Perry is totally responsible for these problems along the border. The feds have no role here? Really? And there would be no illegality along the border but for Perry? Really?

He along with the other Repub governors on the border could put some pressure on the Feds to do something. instead he gives away a college education to illegals.

Do you think endlessly repeating that lie makes it more likely posters will believe it? I think not.

Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

It's not a lie. And you protesting that it is is more than laughable.

So charging illegals in state tuition rates equals "giving away" education in your "mind?"
Saying that illegals are being "given" college educations is a lie. A lie which you've repeated now several times. And it's just an unfortunate "detail" that the law making that possible passed the Texas legislature with only four "no" votes. It's unfortunate but true, the people of Texas, through their elected representatives, get to decide these matters for the institutions they pay for with their taxes, and not you.

They're hyprocrites. They whine incessantly about illegals and the Feds and then they give illegals a reason to come here. It's a joke and every border state is a joke. And you're defending them is a joke.

Knowingly repeating lies is worse. Or are you incapable of making your points using the truth? Go ahead, walk back from your lies, but everyone reading your posts knows you're a liar.

I'm still between Herman Cain and Ron Paul. Of course, I also think that Obummer will put through an executive order to suspend elections.

As long as illegals can go to college cheaper in Texas than Americans I'm living a bigger truth than Rick Perry. That's all that matters to me.

Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

Awwww yea!!! The derp has been brotten!!
I had a Republican friend tell me Friday that if the election was held today, Obama would lose "75% to 25%." He meant it. They're cute in their own way.

I think I'd rather give in-state tuition to illegals as opposed to "Americans" like you, who lie for convenience and are evidently proud of it. Try to remember the first rule of holes. No illegals are "going to college cheaper than Americans" in Texas. That is a lie. Unless you're counting out of state "Americans," which is irrelevant, since they have no entitlement to education at Texas universities under any circumstances, ever. So to please you, and stop this whimpering, the state of Texas has to eliminate the out of state tuition differential all together? Even then you'd whine. Why don't you just admit you'd prefer for illegals to be barred from higher education? Or that truth and accuracy don't mean anything to you, as long as you can get in some sort of shot at Rick Perry? It would be so much easier than these lies you keep telling. BTW, this law that's turned you into an even bigger frothing gasbag than you normally are, is ten years old.

Gadaffi would get more than 25% of the vote (if he ran as a Democrat).

Republicans are cute in their liberal ways. The Democans and Republicrats are all just part of a large oligarchy looking to turn the United States into a third world nation.

If non Texas residents have no entitlement to an education at a Texas U, why should illegals have that entitlement? They're not residents of Texas either

Well, actually they ARE residents, they aren't CITIZENS. And they have that entitlement because the Texas legislature passed a law giving them that entitlement and it was signed by the Governor. In other words, that's what the people of Texas want. You may not like it. I'm pretty sure I would have opposed it at the time. But it's the law in Texas. Frankly, this argument strikes me as particularly stupid, no offense intended. This is a textbook example of comparing apples to oranges.

I'll remember that the next time you complain about something that Obama has gotten/gets passed.

My objection here is the notion that comparing illegals who live in Texas to kids who don't is appropriate. It isn't. If you want to object to the law, knock yourself out. I can't imagine I would have supported it when proposed ten years ago. But what does some punk in Rhode Island have to do with what goes on in Texas? Answer: nothing. Some of us have even claimed Texas is "giving away" higher education to illegals, which is simply a lie.

As to Deadmeat, his prospects for getting anything substantial passed have diminished considerably. And with luck, will disappear altogether.
