Listen, I think we all need to take a breather and talk about something more reasonable, so have some coctopusprime in your face discussing Fox News and how the Tea party is nothing like the OWS group.

And a Spelling Nazi. You sure are talented.

At least I'm not breaking any Federal Laws like your buddy, Rick Perry.

So verging on illiteracy is a plus? Nazi? Tsk, Tsk. I don't know the man, and he's not my buddy. It's readily apparant that you're incapable of grasping even the simplest concept. But I'll try again. I don't think I support the Texas law. And I'm not defending it. I'm simply objecting to your lies.

I'm lying no more than Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann. I'm in pretty good company.

I don't suppose there's any point in explaining that someone cannot be both a Nazi AND a Communist since they follow incredibly different political philosophies (and they hate each other).

Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

Maybe he's sick of Spelling Nazi's too? He apparently loves illegals more than Americans. That we know for sure.

What we know for sure is that you're incapable of having an intelligent discussion on the matter. And this post proves the proposition. And the fact that our two most prolific poodles have jumped in here doesn't change matters at all. You're still a liar. Apparantly willing to say anything in support of an argument.

Goody. Now I can run for office.

Re: 2012 Elections: Corndogs for everyone!

I'm surprised no court challenges to these state laws have reached the supreme court yet. Ten years seems like ample time for that to happen, and given what federal law has to say on the subject, I would expect the state laws to be struck down pretty quickly.

Kinda like the medical marijuana laws right?

I think making a medical argument is vastly different from making a subsidized higher education one regarding people who aren't legally in the country.

One thing is for certain: the state and federal laws on the subject are incompatible (this could be rectified at least to some degree if Congress were to pass some form of the DREAM act, but it's doubtful that will happen anytime soon).

I'm not sure it is different. The law is the law. How is it any different?

Agreed on the second point.

I don't know, I'm not a legal scholar. Medical marijuana and any other controlled substance or procedure that has a medical purpose behind it should be a federal issue - i.e. if you can get it from a doctor or pharmacist in one state, you should have access to it in all states. It's not like the FDA approves a drug and then it can only be prescribed in Rhode Island.

The supreme court's interpretation of laws can be baffling at times to say the least.

both believe is state control of the economy. and state control of just about everything else. under the Nazis you could own a home. or a business. but they still told you how to run it.

Oh yes that's the only difference or not.
