Yeah, Minnesota really should have sent a message there, since they haven't won at Kinnick since, oh, the last time they played there. What a ****ing moron.
Last Minnesota win in Iowa City was in 1999, 25-21. In fact, since 1980, Minnesota has won just 3 times in Iowa City.
Feels great to get Floyd back. Passing game was still atrocious though. Vandenberg's footwork is horrible. The wideouts and James still arent fullly grasping the new system as blitz reads and route adjustments are continually missed.
Offensive line for Iowa is top 3 in B1G. They've gotta be Iowa's most complete unit. They were dominant again. Haven't given up a sack in the last four games.
In ten quarters of football, sophomore walk on Mark Weisman, who was a fullback four weeks ago, has 74 carries for 515 yards and 7 touchdowns. 7.0 YPC.
Edit: 2002 was when Iowa smoked the Rodents to move to 8-0 in conference play and 11-1 overall. The fans stormed Kinnick Stadium North and completely embarrassed the Gophers by taking down the field goal posts. The acusations that they attempted to put it through the revolving doors is a way for Gopher fans to make themselves feel better.
