Thanks. OK, so it's not like it's something even that senior class experienced. It's not like they stormed the field because they beat Minnesota. They stormed the field because they were going to the Rose Bowl--for the first time in 12 years. I don't have a problem with that.

The oddity always was that they stormed Minnesota's field.

OSU is in the AP poll. They're not eligible for the coaches or Harris polls, so they don't appear in the BCS standings.

OSU can still win the AP National Title, correct?

And there were more Iowa fans there than Gophers fans anyways.;)

With their loss ro Northwestern over the weekend, The Indiana Hoosiers now have the most losses is FBS history. Going into the game Northwestern and IU were tied at 632 losses each. IU claims to only have 627 but I guess some folks did some sleuthing and found it to be at 632 before the game.

Another tOSU alum in trouble with the law.

I still remember him driving the lane on a skinny high school center when the Argos played our team in a charity basketball game. Being a smart kid, I stepped out of the way! :D

Ex-Toronto Argonauts great Jim Stillwagon was jailed over the weekend after allegedly shooting a man in a road-rage incident.

Police in Delaware, Ohio, charged Stillwagon with felonious assault after a driver on a motorcycle shot at another man driving a pickup truck north of Columbus on Sunday. The incident spanned about 22 kilometres, according to Delaware police.

The two vehicles eventually stopped in a parking area when Stillwagon, 63, allegedly hit the other driver with the gun, causing it to go off and graze the man’s head. The 41-year-old pickup driver was treated at a Delaware hospital for a minor bullet wound.

From the Deadspin comments on this story:

Judge: And how does the Defendant plead?

Stillwagon: THE not guilty, Your Honor.

Judge: [orders summary execution]

Is the music for ESPN coming in very distorted and compressed for anyone else when they are in the studio?

Re: 2012 D1 BCS thread

Who the hell thought these ND helmets were a good idea? And where is my shovel so that I can properly deal with whoever raises their hand?

Re: 2012 D1 BCS thread

The jerseys are tolerable. Whoever got the bright idea for those helmets, along with whoever approved that monstrosity, needs to have their heads shaved and painted like that for a week.

Fr. Jenkins is the ultimate responsible person. I am all in favor of that punishment for the dear Father.
