2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

Re: 2012-2013 North Dakota Hockey: Season Thread

Hello North Dakota fans! I'm thinking about making the trip to Grand Forks for the BU series Nov 2/3... and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what to do (besides hockey) while I'm there. It's looking to be a fairly expensive trip so I wanna make it worthwhile. Anything you guys could suggest would be helpful!

Spend as little time as possible in ND as you can. The MN border is not far and when in MN you will see beautiful landscapes that include trees, lakes and actual changes in elevation. You will also be able to converse with people that have all their teeth and can speak without grunting. Not to mention indoor plumbing is not considered a premium upgrade in MN but comes standard.

Then when you want to see real hockey you can go back to Grand Forks.

Kill some Gopher and Bison fans. I'm paying $20/scalp.

Hi, Colgate alum here. I'm thinking of heading up to Minneapolis for the UND-Minnesota series in January. Any idea on where I might be able to find decently cheap tickets to the games? Stubhub tix go at a minimum of $95.

you might call the U of M and ask if there are any standing room only tickets available.. but assuming there is not, you might want to consider the $95 (depending on how bad you want to go). I doubt tickets will drop much lower than that for the gopher-sioux series.. its their only regular season meeting this year, and their last year in the WCHA to boot.

Standing room only tickets haven't gone on sale yet.

Reserved seats sold out due to that crappy 3 game pack the U offered.

So if you want tickets, you better be online at 9 am on the dot on Oct 24th or you'll be out of luck.

There are two things to do in North Dakota. Drink, and f*. I suggest the former, as the latter means you will end up with a North Dakotan. ;)

And for that other poster: cheap tickets to UND/MN? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

And Happy was born an A-hole and grew around himself.

I love it when I am given proof that I have won the troll wars. The only thing that could make me happier is hearing the sue crying about losing their hostile and abusive nickname.
