2011-2012 North Dakota Offseason Thread

Re: 2011-2012 North Dakota Offseason Thread

Just for the Record - Said player in Fargo is on his second MIP but also had other driving offenses tacked on and is now only getting handled internally. Like I said i would be very surprised "if" he sits a game - not against it by any means.

Historically, Hak game Benny Blood interal punishment as well and ended up losing the "A" we never did find out what else was in store Benny behind the scenes...

didnt hak give blood the "A" back a couple weeks later? (serious question)

Well, he was stripped of it in January after the series with Minnesota. I believe he got it back for the WCHA Tournament, as I don't believe he had it for Senior Night. Of course, my memory could be deceiving me. It certainly was gone for longer than a couple weeks though.

Trust me I've sent countless emails on this very subject "where are the 30yr old freshman bruisers from thunder bay ont that we used to recruit our goon status is in question and as a fan I'm highly offended and concerned about the direction of the program..." I mean what else can I do?
Send an email to Moose Jaw. That should do it.

Re: 2011-2012 North Dakota Offseason Thread

No. Glad I'm a season ticket holder. I pay a little less thatn 25 bucks a game and when I can't make it that is what I sell them for.

It just seems that the prices are a little bit less than previous years, but I guess not when you factor in ticketmaster fees. That Denver series is probably closer to $60/game when you factor in the fees.

Protest by not going to the games. seems pretty simple to me.

I think he got it back on Senior Night...

Via Schlossman's blog:

Oct. 6 – Manitoba exhibition – $22.50
Oct. 13 – U.S. Under-18 exhibition – $22.50
Oct. 26-27 – Anchorage series – $32.50
Nov. 2-3 – Boston University – $37.50
Nov. 16-17 – Minnesota Duluth – $37.50
Dec. 7-8 – Denver – $47.50
Jan. 4-5 – Holy Cross – $22.50 (students gone)
Jan. 11-12 – Colorado College – $37.50
Jan. 25-26 – St. Cloud State – $37.50
Feb. 1-2 – Wisconsin – $37.50
March 1-2 – Bemidji State – $32.50
I was looking at those ticket prices - it seems that those are a little steep this year compared to years back. Almost 40.00 to see UMD and DU..

Re: 2011-2012 North Dakota Offseason Thread

Like someone mentioned above Benny got his "A" back the second night of the MTU Series on Senior Night.

Mankato Series...Blood was stripped of his 'A' January 15th, and got it back March 3rd. Basically, he lost it for about 7 weeks.

I agree Goon. With those prices I bet had the goofs been at the Ralph this season they would of gone for $60.00 a pop. By the way DU is 47.50 not almost 40.

That's prior to being Sandusky'd by ticket master. I wonder what crazy prices re-sale would have been going for.

My best guess would be about $125-150 for upper bowl, and $200+ for lower bowl. I wouldn't be surprised if prime locations could fetch $300/ticket. For Denver this season, they have them on StubHub from anywhere from $90-200/ticket, with anything in the lower bowl going for $125+.

I need a third job just to get hockey tickets.

Did they increase the ticket prices this year?

How much do season tickets cost?

It will be interesting to see what happens to ticket prices next season and beyond. My guess is that face value for the DU series will be over $50, with Duluth, CC, Omaha, and SCSU not too far behind. I would guess that Miami and Western will be slightly less than that next group.

All I know, is the $23.50/ticket I paid for the UND-DU series down here in Denver is looking more and more like a huge steal.
