I like this tactic from the brewers. Score an a**load of runs before their pitching staff implodes.
Is it true the pitching staff still managed to give up 5 runs yesterday?

10-0 now... They normally are...in 2008 when the Brewers made the playoffs, the biggest reason after Sabathia was the fact that the brewers were 14-1 versus the pirates...also of note, Prince hit is first home run in 2008 on his 54th at bat...today's home run was...his 54th at bat of the season!7-0 Brewers in the 4th. Prince with his 1st HR of the year. I guess the Pirates were just what the doctor ordered for this team.
If I was a small boy, I think my question would be "Daddy, can we play the Pirates every night?"
The lead might be safe enough to get Hawkins some work again.
16-0 after Edmond's HR...can't figure out why Milwaukee went for 2 twice
Inglett got 2 at-bats in one inning as a pinch hitter...how often does that happen?Everyone who has an at-bat for Milwaukee (11 batters so far) has at least one hit, including Wolf who has 2.
Edit: Wolf's pinch hitter Joe Inglett gets 2 at-bats as the Crew bats around in the 7th.

Interesting stat of the day: Brewers are now 5-0 on getaway day...hopefully the Brewers can take some of the success against Pit and keep it going against other teams. Maybe the pitching staff has finally settled down.Good lord. THAT was fun to witness.
